  1. After getting my condenser replaced under warranty back in 2017 for the bad seam weld, the issue has return in the same exact spot. My dealer has been great to work with over the life of my vehicle but their hands are tied in getting any of this repaired outside of my warranty (79,9xx). At their suggestion, I called GM Corp and was assigned a Case ID but the rep basically said that wouldn't be helping me. This seems absolutely unacceptable that I'm expected to cover the $927 repair on a part that they've known to have issues. Anyone have luck getting a 2nd condenser replacement covered? IMG_2712.HEIC
  2. I also made the switch a few months ago. Front's maxed and added a 2" (1"over stock") block in the rear. I'll echo what everyone says, the truck drives much better but there are some conditions where the 5100's are less forgiving. I carry a full tool box, back rack, ladder rack, and misc stuff in the bed and I think the weight definitely helps my ride. The few trips I've taken everything off/rode unweighted, I'm not nearly as impressed with the ride.
  3. That's exactly the time frame I'm on despite being told things would ship the same time. Shocks are in hand but now my blocks aren't supposed to show up until this friday- making it almost 2 weeks. UPS showed a label being made for days with no pickup. I think having MRT on board is certainly helpful, they've answered lots of member questions. For the most part I've gotten quick responses (mainly via PM) and the pricing was certainly good. ** should be noted that they are not open for business on the weekends, at all. So no emails, tracking, etc get sent out.
  4. Truck was blowing hot air. Took it in with a printout of PIT5331 thinking the discharge hose/lack of bracket was the culprit. It turned out that my A/C condenser was the problem, just like other posts above. 100% covered by my GM extended warranty ($0 deductible) - I tried to leverage PIT5331 in an attempt to get the dealer to also replace the known defective part but they would not update since it wasn't showing any damage. I asked that they leave the bracket in the truck for me (cost $11.01)- I'll install it myself.
  5. "Good stuff is not cheap, cheap stuff is not good" I asked for further info because I know a quality install when I see one. "BSS" = Blue Sea Systems. I'm also a boater and very familiar with their product line. Rea. quality stuff. Thanks again.
  6. Nice dual battery setup, very clean. This is something I've been meaning to do. Have any documentation of your install or a source for cables? BSS pieces can easily be had off Amazon.
  7. Another option that's always been interesting to me the Power Tank setups. Yes there are long term costs/fillups but I'd much rather put it in the truck when I need it, or mount it to the bed, can think of all sorts of uses. From what I've read the average 10lb tank is good for about 4 x 4 tire fill-ups from offroad pressure (16-20?) to road ready (36+).
  8. Looks good. I'm long overdue for a Switch Pro's setup or something like this. Care to share some more details?
  9. Looks great, nice work! I vaguely remember the Z71 gauge being some sort of OBDII monitor , whats the other one for? Also- any info on the pedals?
  10. Finally got around to doing a ladder rack. Took a little inspiration from the Tacoma crowd and bought a TracOne. Cut 3" of the uprights, sanded, self etching primer, gloss black paint. Bars sit even with the highest point of my Back Rack. Didn't lose any visibility but did see approximately 2mpg loss on the highway.

  15. Haha Man in stripes = bass yellow eyed monster = bluefish This was a healthy/fat 25" that was promptly returned after a quick photo (notice the hat!) - I'm out on the SouthFork , drop me a PM if you're out there-would be happy to show you the ropes.
  16. South Shore of Long Island? Man in the stripes? Yellow Eyed Monster? I've had a decent surfcasting season so far, but as my handle indicates-I'm an offshore guy. - I've got a 12 rod rack for but I often find myself using the pocket stakes when parked on the beach, it works well.
  17. I too have had these for a while. They've gone drastically up in price since I bought them. The mounts are installed between the hood and the hinges. I've had mine for about 7,000 miles with no issues or loosening. Amazon Link: T-Rex (p/n6390281-Bk)

  19. Trailer plug has constant 12V, just T-Tap at the rear of the harness.
  20. 2014 CCSB - I'm actually not working on tow mirrors, just need turn signal feed for my Headache Rack lighting project. Thanks for your help!
  21. I'm trying to add turn signals onto my back rack. I tried tapping into the same BCM pins you mentioned (tried both front and rear pins) and I'm getting the dreaded hyper flash. Does pulling the turn signal feed from the BCM create an issues with the LED turn signals in the mirrors?
