  1. I used this forum for information just like others, I went though shakes, vibrations with 2012 and 2014 Tacoma and it drove me nuts.I've decided after some good advice from here to hold off on purchasing a truck GMC or Chevy and sit tight for a bit. When I get ready I'm going to check out Dodge and Ford but really take my time.
  2. Hey guys always loved the GMC styling and interior design, and have considered buying one. I'm kinda shying away due to this steering shake / vibration issue. When there's 361 pages of post about this issue it really concerns me. I've had 2 Toyota Tacoma's a 2012 and 2014 with this type of issue the 2014 was bought back though lemon law dispute. My current 2015 Jeep GC has a little bit of this so I'm kinda sick of shelling out for new vehicles and dealing with this type of issues. My goal is to go back to owning a truck since I need to be able to haul, the only truck that doesn't seem to be dealing with vibrations and steering shake is 2015 Ford F150, but the echo boost seems to require head replacement every 20,000 due to carbon build up. Any input would be greatly appreciated Thanks , Jon
  3. Hi new, to this forum I bought here because I currently have a 2012 Tacoma Sport that has an on going steering wheel vibration/shake issue since new and is currently in the shop being looked at again. My issue the same as what owners are describing here with there 2013-14 1500 Silverado's and Sierra's. i been so frustrated by this issue that I'm just days away from purchasing a GM product , but after realizing you guys are going though the same I put the brakes on and decided to sit still for a bit. i'm going to wait to see what the out come is on my Tacoma before I jump ship. It just awful to see that we purchase this vehicles and then have to deal with issues like these, it's a shame that buyers don't have better option's to return , swap or get a quicker resolve. If it wasn't for the consumer these manufactures and dealers wouldn't be in business. I'm curious if anyone here thinks I should get a GM now or hold off ? Jon
