  3. I never understand why people put down others trucks. Everyone has their own flavor. Hell, I feel if you make the payments, do whatever you want to it. may not be my style, but props for making it your own.
  4. Mines also doing really well Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thanks for the info. I also have the full console so not to worried about that.
  6. Awesome, I've been debating on doing this. Do the new seats still use hog clips in certain areas? And I also have heated seats, anything social to worry about with them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I've thought about that to. Right now turning my truck is a future dream of mine, probably not till my warranty is up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I'd love to slap a turbo on mine, I've been looking into it, and more than likely would have to fab up my own turbo manifold to do it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Not sure if it has been mentioned or not, but JBA now has shorty headers available for the new 4.3. Spoke with the sales team, and I risky they told me they were still in R&D bit double checked and was surprised to see they are currently available. Got two part numbers 1842-s10 for stainless steel and 1842s-10js for ceramic coated ones Stainless steel Ceramic coated I asked for horsepower gains, and the rep stated they saw 10 rwhp and 14 rwtq. Also these do not require a tune. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I bought it from amazon, made by razer auto. The Grille didn't come with the chevy emblem, I purchased a billet bolt on emblem.
  11. Installed new grille and painted headlight bezels to match Before: After: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. If it is a design flaw, I'm surprised there hasn't been more issues with it, I imagine probably 90%if owners take their trucks through car washes. Dealership told me that this was the first time they've ever seen a power steering system failed like it did on my truck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I hear you on the safety issue. I just picked my truck back up on Tuesday, they replaced the EPS motor and control unit, so far I haven't had any other issues, to me steering feels a little looser, but I can't tell because I drive a company car now, and rarely drive the truck. I only have 23k on my truck and asked the dealership of they could tell me why it failed and they indicated it was the first time they have ever seen one fail. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'm not worried about them finding the tune. My worry is I've heard that if the ECM gets reset before the stock tune is on it, the tuner has to be re linked to the truck because the tuner will show different number than what it was linked to. Idk if that is true, just what i've read online.
  15. Well just got an update from the dealer. Need a new power steering motor and a new Power Steering control module. My only real worry, is that my truck is tuned, and I was not able to reset the stock tune, so we will see what happens. They are also going to be preforming the two out standing recalls, one for the 4WD transfer case, and the one for checking to see if the parking cable bolt is torqued correctly.
  16. So I can't help but feel like my truck is cursed, with in the last year of owning it, it's been rear ended twice, both times damage has been in the same spot, and to top it off, today when the wife and I went to leave the restaurant we had just finished eating at, started the truck and I got a lovely message saying "service power steering, drive safely" and had no power steering whatsoever. Luckily Chevy roadside assistance towed the truck for me. Anyone else have any issue with their power steering on the new 2014-15s? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. It's not that bad actually. just took me a little bit to figure it out. Just open the center console lid, and pull on the front lip, and the whole tray pops out. Then just un do all the connections for the cig ports, the USB and the AC Outlet, and then if you look at the inside of the cig lighter, you will see two little cut outs. Inside you will see plastic tabs holding it in place. Use a pick and press them to release the cig lighter, and you can slowly wiggle the metal housing for the cig lighter right out, the square housing and cover don't need to be removed to do it either.
  18. I completely agree, just lost some ambition with it getting dark in WNY at 5 now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. That'd be pretty cool if I was the first. I thought I was going to snap my console tying to get that thing out lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Took the cig lighter assembly out and have it in my glove box, and just left the wiring free behind the panel.
  21. I used a 32 inch light bar, got it from Amazon. As far as mounting, i drilled two 3/8 inch holes in the radiator supports, and used rivet nuts in the holes I drilled, then bolted the light bar right to them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Didn't happen today, but over the weekend got my light bar installed Switch location, don't mind the messy truck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Heres my 14. Rancho Quick Lift, 20 inch replica wheels, with Cooper AT3 tires
