Haven't heard straight pipes on this truck but I'd imagine they are a lot louder. This is pretty aggressive sounding compared to the other Flowmasters on this truck but compared to straight pipes I'd guess it's fairly mild. I can definitely easily carry on a conversation in the cab with the windows up.

Had my exhaust installed (Flowmaster Outlaw)... I posted a few (pretty poor audio quality) clips in this thread. I was worried about the black tips but I think they look pretty awesome. Here's a photo:

Had this installed today. Thought I'd post some clips -- sorry about the crappy video quality. Startup: Revs: Acceleration: Definitely some drone, not unbearable. Only noticeable at ~ 1500 RPMs, and definitely more noticeable at faster speeds. I love the sound though!

I drive ~ 20 miles on the highway to work each day and about 1.5 miles off the highway and have been averaging ~ 17.4... I've averaged over 20 on longer trips on cruise. (5.3L A/T)

Got Line-X sprayed on today. I think it came out great.

Good thing to be busy with... I haven't been able to find any clips of the 14' 5.3L w/ the 10 series but I went ahead and ordered the outlaw system. Should be here next week sometime, I'll post some clips after the install if anyone is interested.

Did you end up doing this? Does anyone have any clips of a 2014 with the 10 series?
