  1. Been looking at getting one of those myself. Curious on where you’re going to put the duelly lights? Thats the main reason I haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I have the rigid d.o.t duellys and dont know where I’d put them.
  2. No codes stored on mine. But I will pull the plug. What should it look like? I have about 30k miles.
  3. Well atleast I know what to look for if it pops up again. How did you know it was cylinder 5 though?
  4. how did you know to replace it? Light hasn't come back on. I did check the plug wires. Some seemed a bit loose.
  5. Thwts what I understand it to be.
  6. I change my own oil with 8 qts. A friend of mine is going to scan it with his snap on scanner. We will see then.
  7. I used my diablo intune to check for codes. Would the dealer have a different type of scanner to check for codes?
  8. Take it in for what though. Theres no codes which I'm sure that would be the first thing they check.
  9. It went away within about 30 seconds, once I started to slow down it stopped. Like I said it happened 2 years ago, and hasnt done since last week. Anyone else have this issue?
  10. I have a 2015 1500 with the 5.3 and around 29,000 miles. Last week I was driving to work going about 60mph on a gradual uphill and the check engine light started flashing. I slowed down and pulled over. As I slowed down the light stopped, I then shut the truck off, then restarted and went on my way. Hasnt done it since, however it did do it about 2 years ago about the same situation. No loss of power or evidence of something going wrong. Checked for any codes and there was none. Any ideas what may cause this, and should I be concerned.
  11. I used some type of rubber. About 1/16th thick. I just pur in where the springs touch which is in the front and back
  12. Fixed my issue or so I think. Dont bother with the grease, it wont last long. Put some kind if spacer in between the leafs where they touch. I put some rubber material in mine. You just have to pry the leafs apart and slide in the rubber. Should stop the noise
  13. Same thing happens with my 15. Greased the leaf springs. Stopped for maybe a couple months. I guess i have to go regrease them now.
  14. Im toing to guess they're tinted.
  15. Did you get it from the dealer or order online? Everywhere I look online wants like $20 to ship it. Crazy
  16. You happen to have a part number?
  17. Any rubbing with that setup
  18. I still have the ones from the factory and have had my truck for over 2 years. I did put chemical guys carbon flex coating on my whole truck including my windshield though.
  19. What bumper is that? Looks great!
  20. I have a 2" motofab. Its definitely doable on your own but imo it's better to have it done somewhere. I started to install mine but gave up and had it installed at a shop, that way the alignment is done then too. I think they charged me somewhere between $250-$350 for install and alignment, I'd have to check on that though.
  21. I believe im having the same issue. Took it to the dealer, took them for a ride to see where its coming from and we both figured the rear. They re torqued the leaf springs and said to spray the leafs with lubricant. Definitely seemed to help. Going back next week for an onstar issue so they are going to take another look with "chassis ears".
  22. Couldnt come up with anything. They retourqed the the rear springs. They also said to spray them with lubricant. Said they can try "chassis ears" to see where it's coming from.
  23. That's mainly when I hear it aswell as when swerving back and forth just to figure where it's coming from
  24. Doesn't seem to do it when going straight so much, even when hitting bumps or going over train tracks.
