  1. This may be a stupid question, but I'm assuming there are some Tahoes/Yukons on the road that don't have this issue (in other words there are lemons out there but not all are lemons)? Or...is this a problem with every Tahoe/Yukon, prior to a certain production date, and the issue/phenomenon is just more noticeable to some folks and/or more severe in certain trucks? I don't recall feeling any weird sensations or hearing any unusual sound when we test drove one. However, I was planning on buying certified preowned and this thread has almost certainly destroyed that idea...
  2. I've already sent this thread to the salesman we worked with when we recently looked at a Yukon Denali. The next morning, he said he spent the whole night reading this thread and was going to talk with his service dept about the issue, but to his knowledge there have been no Yukons come back exhibiting this problem. He said he would do whatever he had to to make us happy. I made it very clear that I was following this thread and GM's resolution of the issue would define whether we went with a GM truck, or stick with Toyota (would love a Land Cruiser but it lacks so many of the bells and whistles the Yukon has). There is no way that I'm spending $70k+ right now with so many of you having this problem. I have a newborn and a 4 year old...I can't imagine putting them through this torture, nor do my wife and I have time to run back and forth to the dealership trying to get a truck fixed. Hopefully GM resolves this issue soon. It's an absolute shame.
  3. Can someone give me a quick cliff notes version of what manufacture dates the F, G, and H in the VIN represents? Thanks!
  4. Has GM issued any kind of statement, and at least acknowledged that there is a problem and they are actively working on it?
  5. So has the issue been resolved, or is it still a problem? Man I am SOOOO glad that i found this thread. We were looking at purchasing a Yukon Denali within the next month! Unreal that a $70k+ SUV has major design issues! Matt
