I traded my 2014 Sierra AT in last week for a 2016 Acadia. My dealership is the only reason. I still come on here because I am baffled and want to see if there is a resolution and I have friends that still have a similar truck and are starting to notice the issues even though I never mentioned it to them. Not really fair to call those that got out trolls IMO. -

Mine is being traded in tomorrow. 2016 Acadia. I don't hate the brand but I sure as hell not chancing another truck until this issue is fixed. These are going to end up being useless in a few years once people start really complaining. Your box is tuff...but she sure vibrates ;) -

Did the steering system not change as well? I thought it went from a rack and pinion type to what is on it now...could be wrong but it looks different to my inexperienced eyes -

The front two were replaced at 19,000 KM's and then all 4 with a new brand at 32,000 kms. This was all my dealership. They go out of there way. GM basically puts it all on them. -

I had Goodyears....they gave me two more at 20,000 kms for the front....made it a bit better, now at 30,000 k I have michelins on it....my friend has pirellis', his just started vibrating....definitely not tires. What really upsets me is that when I can actually afford to dump it, the re-sale is going to suck so bad because of this. More and more people are noticing it, just in my circle of friends that own the trucks....not shocking that dealerships (Ford, Toyota, have them on their lots with little to no miles on them) for sale.... -

My dealership put all new tires on mine. It will improve it for sure as it did last time. But as the tires wear, the vibration will come back. New tires just mask it in my opinion...it WILL come back. It is a design flaw. GM needs to get their shit together. -

I can just imagine what they have about me on file LOL. I am picking up my truck tomorrow after a week and a half. New tires for me. Basically that will mask the vibration some until the tires wear down again...When I can financially get rid of this truck without a huge loss...she's gone. -

They are not denying there is an issue. Makes the whole situation even more pathetic at a corporate level. -

Fix the issue. Take ownership of it. Stop making the dealerships be the fall guy for your design flaws. That would be a start. -

Had the same results with picoscope...first time out she was registering 50....all within spec now....but same vibration still there...new tires will make it better again until they wear down...I know the deal...on my second set now. GM should be ashamed of themselves. -

I am very respectful to mine. Always have been. AND loyal...but I am done. I buy new every 3 years...done with GM after I can afford to get out of this one. -

Totally. All they do it turn you back to the dealership who get no reimbursement for the hours they put into diagnosing this "bad design" -

Today they are checking the pinion. ( I believe) hoping to have an update later today. The rental has 10,000 kms on it. Mine was vibing at 4000kms so...thats a good sign ;) -

MY truck has been at dealer for a week. They have now ruled out tires and drive shaft. Last week they changed two rear shocks as one was leaking and other was weeping. Still vibrates. They thought they had it fixed after breaking tires down and doing a road force balancing, but when I went for a drive with service manager he even indicated that at 120 km/h he could fell it in his chest even. They are not denying I have an issue at all, but sure is frustrating. I have a rental, a 2016 silverado quad cab. Does not vibrate a bit. Makes me feel even worse about my truck because I am sure they are not going to be able to fix it. -

Had my rear shocks changed yesterday as they had failed. Truck has 30,000 kms on it. Went home...Vibration was twice as bad. Truck is going in Monday and Service Manager said they are keeping it until its fixed. Getting me a rental and going at it. This is the second time they have kept it...I came armed with the bulletin re: picoscope, Driveshaft, etc....they are doing the full meal deal. I don't blame my dealership. GM Should be ashamed of themselves. Nobody, let alone a woman, should have to deal with mechanical BS like this. So happy I hung out in my grampies garage for years. I at least have some knowledge...pity the poor sap who does not. -

Totally. My 2011 Silverado was flawless. I did NOTHING to it. Worst thing I ever did was trade it in for the 2014 -

so today they checked the rear shocks as I had asked because besides the vibration it handles a bump like an old tractor. Sure enough, one leaking and the other weeping. Ordered in two and they will work on vibration issue again. Still chalking it up to bad tires...but I am not convinced -

Mine is in again today. I brought the bulletin with me that references the things to try with picoscope, shaft, tires, shocks etc, Service Manager who I have a long history with who said last visit thought it was a tire issues, agrees with me know that he feels its an inherent issue with certain trucks. Well that made my day, at least they admit my problems are not imaginary. This will be my last GM. The love affair is over. I am 39 years old and have owned GM since I was 16. I do not blame the dealership. GM should be ashamed of this problem and own up to it but I am sure hell will freeze over first.
