  1. I'm thinking about it. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  2. I think the biggest obstacle is going to be making it look good. If we can get that harness, we can source the connectors and that cable. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  3. Yes, GTPprix has confirmed that the HUD does both. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  4. That's way too much work. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  5. Maybe we can all chip in to buy those parts and if it works whoever the guinea pig, I mean volunteer, is can just give everyone their money back. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  6. Not a great pic, but the Denali visor cutout for the HUD is indeed larger than the collision detection cutout. I looked at my truck and a Yukon side by side and it looks like the defroster panel is interchangeable but there's no way to tell for sure without measurements or buying one to try out. 7. New topic started for HUD swap. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/index.php?/topic/199229-HUD-in-Silverado/Sierra Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  8. As requested, I started this thread because the other one for the Denali cluster swap was going off topic. What we know so far 1) It is possible. 2) Part numbers for HUD and switch 3) Dash and cluster visor are different for suv and truck 4) No wiring harness yet ( that we know of) Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  9. What I'm saying is 1) The dashes appear to be completely different. You would need the whole dash to make the visor look right from the suv. 2) The HUD/crash warning hole appears to be in the same location as the truck. 3) If the size of the hole is the same we should be ok 4) If the hole is larger it would only require a little massaging of said hole. 5) Anybody have pics of HUD defroster panel? 10. My crash avoidance hole appears to be in the same location. It may only be a matter of making it larger. Anyone have pics of the HUD cluster visor? If its the same as that one, all you would need is the truck defroster panel if you don't have one. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  11. HUD switch part number 23193705 HUD part number 23321030 Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  12. Where is everyone finding the HUD units and related parts? Are they year specific also? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  13. Ok I'll check. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  14. Just to be clear, I have a 2015 silverado with wifi and I'm good to go with this cluster? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  15. I used to date fat chicks to fix this in my old c10. [emoji1] Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  16. Either a defect or they changed something in 2016. I don't have any complaints on the seats in my 2015. I'm a fairly large guy 5'11" 260lbs. Maybe my large rear keeps me out of the crease. Lol Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  17. Have you contacted your dealer? It's probably a defect. Serious question. Did you not notice during the test drive? Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  18. Are you serious? The man just said no to you very loudly. I don't think that he's going to change his mind. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  19. You could always change the chrome that's left to red and call it Darth Maul. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  20. Can't believe I waited so long to have my windows tinted. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk
  21. In case anyone is interested, I just picked up the djm rear flip kit for 20% off at stylin trucks Web site using code st05may. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
