I just put the Borla ATAK dual out the sides on my 2016 gmc Denali. It took me about 45 minutes to do and it's amazing. It has an awesome sound at idle and when you step on it it sounds like a corvette! I'm extremely impressed. There is no drone what so ever. Not like the flowmaster. I'd recommend Borla. I got it from autoanything.com it listed for 999 and they had a 20% coupon code
Today was a busy day!! I did 15% tint on the front windows, 15% strip on the windshield, AVS chrome aeroskin and window visors, truxedo truxsport bed cover, K&N intake, and Borla ATAK dual exhaust. I took the picture before I did the exhaust it got too dark.
I would say it's optional. I figured it can't hurt. I've only had it on for a day and haven't driven the truck much so I haven't seen any residue. I did notice some in the lines I had going into the cold air intake. For the 100 bucks I figured I'd give it a try
The clean air oil separator replace the oils cap on the truck. It's a separate piece then the catch can. Check out elite engineering. You don't really need it it is optional
I had 295/50/20 on my Silverado at the stock height on Chevy Oem rims and had no issues at all. Going to a 305 would be pushing it. Even after putting the 2.5" leveling kit in the front and rear I only put a 295/55/20 on. The Chevy wheel wells are just to narrow. I'm sure you can fit a 305/55/20 with a leveling kit I just didn't wanna push it with the chance of rubbing or issues being to wide
