  1. had mine done before the dealer even knew about it . found out about it here back in august or September. I don't even remember with everything thats been happening. or was it on the facebook group
  2. I have, but its different than the highway one. I had it checked, and expected it to be the Torque Converter but the dealer couldn't find the cause so I left it alone and focused on the highway one. Don't worry, thats only one of my videos. I have others that were taken on roads that weren't paved the night before and are worse. I just post that one because you won't get a better road surface than that was just paved the prior night.
  3. is a video I took last year of the shake I'm dealing with (It was literally the day after they had paved route 3 N in Massachusetts). GM and I have been working toward a trade assist. I'll be getting a 2017 Sierra Denali with a 6.2 for the replacement. I tested a bunch of 2017 trucks and none that I drove were as bad as my current 2015 Silverado.
  4. What do you have? I've tested a bunch and none were anywhere near as bad as my 2015
  5. Glad to hear that. Unfortunately no the swap has not happened yet. I'm actually in the middle of writing a scathing email to multiple GM execs (for the second time). The dealer has been holding the truck for a month and nothing has happened. I've emailed or called my rep 6 times since October 6th and he isn't responding (and this is the second time hes gone MIA). I'm going to give them an ultimatum of November 2nd (7 business days) to finish the deal. I went and talked to the dealer and my agent said that he doesn't know why mine is taking so long. he says they normally take 12 weeks. Mine has been going on for nearly 20 weeks now. I have been more than patient with them. It's time to see some action. As for the ride, I took it out for a long test drive, and it is substantially better, but there is still a very very slight vibe/shake in them, but as long as it doesn't get worse as I drive it, I'd be willing to live with it. Congrats on being able to drive again, I've had a couple knee surgeries, so I know the feeling of being stuck. its no good ohh and its a 2017 Denali with a 6.2 For anyone who wants the email addresses to the CEO, President, VP, etc. click here and scroll down
  6. I'm just following along, no reason to repeat what has already been said 1000 times here. Anyone who joins can stop being lazy and read at least some of what has been said. Glad your surgery went well and hope you're recovering well buddy.
  7. ok, just wanted to make sure since I hadn't seen you comment on it and I knew I remembered you talking about that exact thing how ever many pages earlier. Timken is definitely the way to go Screw it, I'll write the song, give me a couple days. Timken it will cost them millions in retesting because from what I've heard, we feel it because they changed the mounts on the vehicle to a harder material that transfers the vibes. but I think there are issues with certain parts as well
  8. yes, they will use anything and everything to blame it on. Thankfully all of the accessories on my truck are factory and were done by the dealer at time of sale. did you see the post below?
  9. If the dealer is actually willing to work on it an acknowledges the problem, you're off to a good start. You can even change servicing dealers in the middle if it if you like, or the dealer begins to refuse to work on it. You will have to meet the lemon law requirements and send them a "Final Repair Notice" before GM would be willing to do anything else as far as trade assist or buyback. As far as getting a car instead, you can ask, but they typically require you to stay with a similar vehicle.
  10. you would hope haha. I have to exclusively use XM because my current 2015 is so bad
  11. yes, that was brought up last fall/winter. nothing came of it though
  12. Im about to get a 2017 on from a trade assist.... ill let you know if the 17 is better
  13. Well a little over 5 months ago I send GM a final repair notice, they offered a trade assist and I have been fighting with them ever since on the value. I Spoke with the rep today and it appears that it has finally paid off. They have contacted the dealer to set up for me to get the new truck I picked out. Waiting on final approval of the new numbers for the value of my current truck. Hopefully within the next week or 2 I'll be out of my POS 2015 Silverado LT Crew 4x4 with the 4.3L V6 and into a 2017 Sierra Denali Crew 4x4 with the 6.2L V8. glad its almost over.
  14. thats part of the problem. They transfer all harmonics into the cab
  15. Actually GM sold off a few brands to try to stay up and running. They started having even more financial issues and the government stepped in. lifted trucks have the same problem yea, lots of people are having the same experience. The dealer I go to has done a bunch of these vibrating trucks, has admitted to having a couple for over 2 months at a time and still no fix.I can't wait until my buy back/ trade assist is finished.
  16. There actually are standards for RFB tires. 40 is way over, 20... depends on where withing 20 it is. If i remember right 23 or 25 is the standard high. 3 is very good, and a very stiff sidewall http://townhall.com/tipsheet/conncarroll/2015/02/04/its-official-the-auto-bailout-cost-taxpayers-166-billion-n1952771 right... GM didn't get bailed out, keep telling yourself that
  17. Bullsh*t, Ive had my tires balanced 3 times and 10 different replacement tires (not including the originals) and never paid them a dime. Don't pay them to begin with, ask them to let you test it fora week or 2 then if its fixed maybe pay them.... or dispute it on a credit card haha exactly I think everyone is paranoid about it haha These trucks have proven to be extremely sensitive to everything
  18. will get worse
  19. If I had never owned a Shakerado, I probably would have assumed it was the road, but knowing what I do, and exactly how it feels. I know its there. I also don't know if it will get any worse because of the tires setting on the bead, wearing etc. so there are more factors to consider if anyone is looking at them
  20. That is correct 2017's have the same vibration, even the Denali's that I test drove. they were no where near as bad, but it was sill there.
  21. Rude GTFO Probably not
  22. the deal is they take mine and give me a new 2017. whether I keep it or not is another story, not sure what Ill do at the moment, I'm terrified to have the vibration come back, and I already know that it is very very slight on the 2017 denali's I tested. im trying to get them to put better tires on before I accept.. If its gone I'll consider keeping it, if its still there I'm going straight to Ford or Toyota... I think
  23. it hasnt finished yet. the guy was away last week, he did tell me he would be away the week before he left. so hopefully soon, this sh*t takes forever
  24. this was brought up a couple hundred pages ago. it didn't seem to make any difference, maybe youll get lucky though
