Had my K2 serviced and recalls fixed seatbelt, airbag reprogramed . Everybody will hear the sweet sound of the Corsa when I cruise up to Iowa this weekend.

Tire Chains and Deicer if going through higher elevations.

Corsa Sport Exhaust installed last month sounds great with no problems. Tightened clamps a little with 1/4 inch ratchet Thanksgiving and again few days ago with 1/2 inch drive. As others have mentioned a little loud cold start and assume slight popping is normal while decelerating. Just hear a low rumble on HWY with trans in 6th but in 5M very noticeable. Corsa to me has more of a Glass Pack sound compared to others and makes a warble sound in V4 mode. Range made a huge difference but quit working so sent it back last week. Range Tech just sent message Module has been serviced ,updated to Series 7 should be here Saturday

On 5.3 Elite 2 Connect hose to PCV connection below Throttle Body to Top of Can. Connect hose to side of can to PCV connection side of engine

Installed Elite2 similar to jrob56 yesterday but lost a clamp and couldn't finish with check valve. This morning went Auto parts store for clamps and Hose cutters, they didn't sell them and wouldn't lend the pair they use. Being a little irritated put he stuff back and went to a shop next door. They just had regular hose clamps but were nice enough to lend their cutters. Made one cut put on the valve and all I need to do now is trim ends off the Zip Ties.

Checked out some new trucks while at Dealership today. The White High Altitudes have Flowmaster with Double Wall tips. The dark Trucks are from an unknown company had Glass packs about the size of a Liter soda bottle, Y pipe split into skinny pipes with crinkled bends with tips that looked like soup cans. The Aluma coat was flaking off and rusting ,can't believe someone would install that junk on a new truck

Corsa Sport arrived today and dropped it off at the Muffler Shop, will be waiting at the door in the morning . Wanted to have system welded but a Corsa Rep said it would cause warranty problems. Feel kinda' guilty having a Custom Exhaust Shop install a kit, I'm thinking it would take a few hours and the price to fabricate same type of system .

Thanks to low sulfur fuel, DEF and ReGen ( computer controlled high RPM idle to clean out soot)the exhaust is cleaner on the Freightliner I drive than my Chevy

I found GM Borla $1050 minus tips GM Parts Direct ( Flow GM Auto Center ). I'm considering taking off the shop installed Magnaflow with cheap hangers and tips.

Elite Catch Can with Check Valve arrived and will try to install this weekend, Do I need thread sealer?

Magnaflow installed by local shop sounded good for a couple of months but now is getting annoying. Going to see about changing to a Magnaflow XL

The big Eco Tec with Magnafow has more of a low rumble compared to a Vortec 4.8 . I floored it on a county road and it revved up great especially with Airaid installed, lighter weight 2012 Reg. Cab with 4.8 Vortec had more of a high revving tone .

They are just missing the problem ,haven't really looked or don't know what they are doing. My poor Dad wasted $700 taking his 1985 Crown Victoria to dealers for a vacuum leak they couldn't find. A retired Plant Maint. Mech found a faulty two inch vacuum hose within an hour. I haul Intermodal containers full of parts made and shipped from Mexico, China , Korea. They all are assembled into your proudly made in the USA vehicles, including Ford

Good thing checked on M.I.T install today, had a full turn on Tube barb fittings and tightened all four clamps
