  1. No rattle or clunking here............just a rough ride therefore I'm going the Bilstein route. Rears today and fronts later.Good luck!!
  2. 2.5" Rough Country with the 2"RC block in the rear . ( stock block removed) I'm really not happy with the ride and it bounces like crazy when I tow my boat. I figured I'd start with the rear shocks first to try and stop the bounce BS and go from there.
  3. I don't believe you can as the 5100 states 1" taller. I don't mean to hijack your post but I currently have a 2" rear block and will be buying the 5100's for rear only from MRT. Maybe he can chime in on your question. Send him a PM as he's the vendor several post up.
  4. That's what I like about this forum from others in the past......a lot people helping others is what it's about. Now to see how I can sneak $350.00+ install from the bank without you know who snapping. Thanks again bro!
  5. I have read thru 28 pages to find this post. Haha Thank you !
  6. I haven't really noticed the asphalt thing but mine seems to do it all the time. I don't see how it would be something only in GMC's w/wheelbase.............................hell.nobody would buy em or we'd be seeing thousands of post like mine. Thanks for the feedback though.
  7. I have a newly installed complete 2.5" RC level kit and my truck rides pretty rough. Now when towing my boat (#3400) the truck bounces going down the road. At first I thought I needed to change my tongue weight which I did by swapping receivers from a 2" drop to a 4" drop which put more weight on tongue. That sucker still bounces and is driving me crazy. If anyone has experienced this or may know how to correct it I would definitely appreciate your input. I have had so many issues with the dealer and the 2.5" level kit they installed and now this bouncing crap. I am regretting not going with the Bilsteins and wondering can I add them now to help the ride. This sucker rides like crap........................especially for a 50K truck. 8. I had the 22" Magnaflow installed and resonator delete yesterday. The sound is a nice deep tone but is pretty quite and that was really my intentions. I suggest is you wanna here your truck at idle and I'm sure is noticeable on freeway ........get you the 18". The muffler shop was telling me 18" from the start but I'm happy with the 22". Nice and melow.
  9. One of the most important tips I'd like to pass on ,even after reading every single post is that you should never stack blocks. I have a 2.5" RC that had stock block with the RC 2" on top of it. I was trying to get more rake iota the truck so when I tow I wouldn't be nose high. WRONG. The truck rode like shit so I had the rear stock block removed. Man what a difference. Hope this helps someone out.
  10. I disagree with your tire theory. It had a 2" level with no added block and rode great......... But thanks anyway.
  11. I know,I know!. This was a dealer installed third time screw up (long, long story) and this time I'm moving on to a local shop. Going to definitely remove the stock block and go from there.
  12. Stock w/ 275/65/20 KO'2s. Running at 35psi
  13. I have a 2.5" RC with the RC 2" rear blocked stacked on the stock block. The truck has a 1"- 1.25" rake and I like the stance since I tow a boat. But man this sucker rides pretty rough. I was going to remove the RC rear block and see if that would help but that would eave me too level for my taste. Do y'all think by me removing the front top spacer Ian's rear block it would help, that much? Thanks
  14. Does anyone have any suggestions on why I'm having a lot of bounce when towing my boat. I'm guessing it has something to do with my newly installed rear 2" block. Thanks
  15. Running at 38psi I came out of a Ford EcoBoost with Bilstein 5100's on top height and the same tires. This runs a lot smoother.
  16. I have the 5.3 w/ 2.5" RC level and rear stock block. I didn't get before and after measurements but my truck still has a 3/4"-1" rake and that's pretty much where I wanted it. The suspensions on the All Terrains area little different from others and you may not get the exact results as I did if your dealing with other than an AT. Here's the only pictures I have.
  17. I have 275/65/20's on a 2015 All Terrain with a 2.5" level.................this baby feels like a caddy. I little too sluggish (need a tuner) compared to my EcoBoost but man is it smooth. This is my first set of KO2's ( others were KO's) and that's all I'll ever put on my trucks.
  18. How much rake do you have and what's the ride like ? Thanks
  19. I know I'll catch hell for this but oh well. I had paid the dealer to install a 2.5" level on my new (11/15)truck and am trying to figure out if it is a 2" , 2.25" or 2.5" as ordered. I see the lower front end block and it measures 1" and can't see anything on the upper or I don't know what I'm looking for to give me the 2+". The other thing that has me thinking it's under 2.5" is my truck still has the original rear block and the truck has a 3/4" -1" rake ,which tells me that the original rake before level was around 3.5"...................that seems like a lot of rake . Dumby me never measured before and after. I'm not liking the stance and want the rear up another 1" atleast. The rear just looks low. Sorry no pictures except on my sig. Any advice or suggestions are welcome.
  20. Mine is in my sig. My daughter (25 yo) said it was old man color.............haha
  21. My new 2015 All Terrain w/ 275/65/20 KO2's and a 2.5" level
  22. Weathertech mud flaps

  23. Anybody out there have or know if the Weathertech mud flaps will work with 275/65/20's on a 2.5" level ? Thanks
  24. I just picked up a 2015 All Terrain w/5000 miles on it and the dealer is installing me a 2.5" Level so I can run the same set up with (275/65/20 BFG KO2's. Dummy me..... just bought the tires (less than 1000 miles on em) for my Ford and decided to trade it. I wasn't about to let them suckers go so I just told the dealer to add a 2.5" plus it was already getting a sunroof installed..............what's another day. Talk about time standing still and it's only been 1 day .. haha.
