  1. Great looking truck man. Do you have it leveled? And if you do what did you use?
  2. I think it's funny how people think GM trucks are the only ones with issues.. Switching brands isn't always the answer. I can see how people get feed up with GM and switch because of that, but just be careful cause fords and dodges both have their own issues, and similar ones too. But in regards to the post, my 2015 6.2L 8spd shifts pretty well. When I first got it and it was learning my driving it was definitely annoying and I actually had the dealership reset the tranny once. But after that it's been fine. There are hard downshifts here and there, mostly random, but nothing that shakes the whole vehicle. I also tuned my ECM with the Diablo intune i2 and it made the whole truck drive so much smoother. Can't wait till Diablo offers support for the TCM of the 8spds
  3. Nope. No rubbing at all. Just have to get use to the little bit of extra road noise.

  7. I saw somebody else do this with their white truck and i didn't really like the look. But for some reason I think this color looks awesome with it. Great choice

    Alaska?

Anyone from Alaska on here? I've seen a few people while looking at threads. Thought it might be cool to possibly meet up and check out each others trucks and the mods done.

Those thule racks look awesome. Do they have mounts you can buy to put bikes and such on them for trips?
  10. Thanks for the input man
  11. How do you connect your wiring harness to the garage door openers to work as the switch for the LED bar?

Thanks man, appreciate it. The head light bezels I had vinyl wrapped matte black. They they look colored match but they're not. If you take your grill off, you can then take off the headlight bezels. There are videos on youtube and threads on this forum explaining how to remove them. You can then get yours painted or vinyl wrapped to match. If you end up doing either, make sure to put a 3m or xpel clear bra over them to protect them. The paint and vinyl both chip easily. I have my entire front of my truck (grill, hood, fenders, bumper cap, and mirrors) covered with the clear bra. I did not cover the headlight bezels though and there are a few chips in the vinyl from rocks.

Hard to tell in this picture, but the LED bar sits perfectly right above the bottom of the grill. I couldn't have planned it better if I tried.

    Switch

From the album: Rigid LED light bar install

In my truck, there is this slot on the side of the steering wheel. At first I thought it was for the lever for adjusting the steering wheel height, but the lever does not use it at all. So I decided to place the switch there. Perfect place because I didn't have to cut anything, pull the dash apart, and the light is also hidden so it is not obnoxious.

Heres a more zoomed out view of where the nipple is for running the wiring harness.
