  1. So I have had this happen twice now. First time was a short stop with about a 20 minute off period. Next restart it was fine again. Sunday it happened but this was after the truck was off for over 5 hours. Did the hard reset and it was fine. Wonder if more then just the few of us have been having this issue. My truck is out of factory warranty and really don't want to pay the deductible just to have an update done.
  2. Because I prefer not having them. I don't need them and to me they are useless
  3. After the update, i have guidance lines on for the camera, cant remove them like before. And the volume for google assistance is so low you can't hear it with no way of making it louder. I had no issues with my radio before this update. What's supposed to make it better actually made it worse.
  4. Has anyone experienced the front turn signal/white light strip going out on the 24's. Out of nowhere it just went out. Got the error notice on my dash. After the truck sitting for an hour, it all worked again. Not sure if it is going to give me a problem again but wondering if anyone has run into this issue yet. The headlight didnt go out.
  5. Nope, apparently GM says replace the entire leaf spring assembly. I did ask why they wont, no answer. I wont be doing fluid film again because i wasnt not pleased with the outcome so hopefully it doesnt happen again. If it does, local spring shop said they will replace bushings with a much better one.
  6. Its most likely the horrible bushings they use. I had mine replaced by dealer under warranty, entire leaf springs because the bushings went bad. They are trying to say fluid film might have helped cause the issue but fluid film has been used for a long time and why arent other manufacturers having issues. All i had to do was rock the truck and it sounded like the truck was going to fall apart
  7. Max is 12400, just under 37' Jayco Eagle. I had about 1/2 tank of fresh water so I would say between 11500 and 12k.
  8. I towed my 5th wheel camper for first long trip from NY to Myrtle Beach SC. I bypassed the Washington DC area so went through Virigina on I-64 on the way home. Of course the east coast is dealing with highs in the 90s lately so it was hot with temps in the upper 90s on Saturday but going up the mountain the trans regularly stayed around 200-205° reaching max of 215° before I made the down hill before I-81. It didnt matter how I drove, temps stayed in the 200 range until the sun and air temp went down. Should I be concerned? I dont tow regularly as I normally keep the camper at a seasonal site.
  9. I wonder if this is the noise I am hearing on my 24 AT4. Will have to check it out before it goes to dealer on Friday for other noises. Did the mirror wobble alot that it was very noticeable?
  10. Dealer said everything with the leaf springs were fine. Do you have any info on the TSB? Mine seems to do it on rough gravel road and backing up on uneven surface.
  11. Has anyone experienced a creaking noise coming from the dash in the area of the radio screen. I have narrowed it down to this area and it appears to disappear for a bit if I push down on the trim above the climate control and below the radio screen. $80k for this truck, do not want to hear this crap. As it is, they can't recreate the clunk i get from the back of the truck. But I am not the only one that hears these noises so atleast I know I am not crazy.
  12. Do you have the appropriate torque number for the leaf springs?
  13. I have a clunk that has recently shown up mainly when turning and going over uneven road grades. Not sure where its coming from. Thought it was the tool box in the truck but eliminated that possibility by removing it. I got into the bed of the truck and bouncing and shaking the truck recreates it somewhat. Still no idea where its coming from. I have 4200miles on the truck and its only been happening for about the last 1000 miles. Anyone else dealt with this?

  15. Sirius and XM while the same company are two separate radio systems still. The XM side doesn't offer stations that are only available on the internet side (channels higher than 200 except the sports channels) while Sirius radios do allow the higher channels. GM vehicles are XM radios where Dodge and Acura, Hyundai, only ones I know of are Sirius radios.
