  1. Ok, so I took the plunge and ordered them today, fingers crossed I'll be happy with a 10 ply tire!
  2. I’d love if the car wash would use Griots products, that’s what I use on my Vette. Anyway I think for my use the TG’s are the way to go since 99.9% of my driving is highway.
  3. I am referring to the TG G2’s. I like the look of the Ridge Grapplers but you’re going to laugh at me for a big reason as to why I’m concerned about running them, I go through the car wash at least 2 times a week and the sidewall tread would throw tire gloss all over my truck as soon as I drive out, it would drive me crazy, my current TG’s are bad enough. Yeah, I’m a little nuts and OCD but it makes me who I am, LOL. I’m gonna have to think about this. Thanks once again for your insight on this, I do appreciate it.
  4. Ok, I’m confused, The Terra Grapplers in the exact same size are a pound lighter than the Ridge Grapplers, also the Terra Grapplers have less of a gap in the tread than the Ridge in which should make the TG’s quieter? I’ve run the Trail Grappler before and they are heavier and much louder but the TG’s are much more of a street tire than the RG’s or am I totally missing something?
  5. I’ve been running TG’s on all my trucks since 2004 and they have been great for me. BFG doesn’t make 285-55/22’s unfortunately.
  6. Thank you for your review, I’m much more comfortable getting E range tires based on your opinion. Now, to decide to pull the trigger on the tires or not, I’ll stay with the terra grapplers, they are giving $100.00 off today and tomorrow.
  7. Hmmm...., Love the look, how is it on bumps on the road vs. the OEM 20's? I've run E rated tires before and have hated the ride, very concerned about losing ride quality, but I sure like the look.
  8. The 6.2's do not have the screens, and I agree, I opened both flaps and there is no noticeable difference in sound.
  9. Buy Depends for men!! ? Sorry, thats the first thing I thought of when I saw that plate, My window still leaks too so I feel you pain but it was just too funny to pass on.
  10. Is that an Android screen? Never seen that map before.
  11. Hold on, first off I’m not beating on anybody, I’m sorry if you or anybody else feels that way. What I am doing is trying the clarify an issue many have had and some potential buyers may have. Telling people you lost your brakes when you are actually losing the power assist is a very big difference. Yes I do remember the Toyota issue and they in fact lost their brakes. I have yet to hear anyone in these trucks who have actually lost their brakes, yes, stay below 62 MPH, service brake assist, and all the other messages that go along with it, as I’ve said numerous times it is an issue but mis-leading people to be fearful because they can “lose the brakes” is putting a fear in to people that is unnecessary in my opinion. As you said, he can voice his opinion and we are all here to help and that’s what I’m trying to do. Once again I’m not downplaying the issue at all, just making sure others understand what it actually is. Now sir, enjoy your Raptor, it’s a hell of a truck!
  12. You’re going to need a new headliner as well, that requires the removal of the windshield.
  13. I was not giving a smart response, if you read back you’ll see that I agree this is a serious issue and I’ve had it as well. What I am saying is that people come here to research buying new trucks and new owners come in looking as well and they see “I lost my brakes” they are freaked out. Yes, we have lost power assist, gotten multiple errors on the dash and probably soiled some peoples shorts but you can stop the truck and we haven’t “Lost the brakes” which would mean you cannot stop until you hit something or coasted to a stop. As I’ve said in prior posts I’m in no way downplaying this issue as it is a serious issue but if we “Lost the brakes” there would be a big recall, not a TSB for software update and possibly another part (I forgot forget what it was). You sir have a wonderful day!
  14. Ok, same old question, how did you drive your truck home with “No Brakes”?
  15. Not for rain sensing wipers as it’s not even an option on the high Country trucks.
  16. Rough country has to have them as I have them on my truck, they came with the 3” kit.
  17. Pretty much since they don’t even offer them as an option.
  18. I’m looking at chrome wheels as an option but I’d rather stay with a polished wheel, I’d also like to stay with OEM too but worried about fitment with the front calipers.
  19. I ran 18” E rated Terra Grapplers on my Tahoe and I couldn’t wait to tale them back off and sell them at a loss, the ride was so hard it was jarring, I’m really scared to run a E 22” with that much less of a sidewall, plus the extra rolling resistance due to the heavier tire, there is no benefit in running the E’s.
  20. I’m either going to leave my 305-45/22’s or change out my wheels to 20’s and have a ton of choices. If I can find a buyer for my current tires and wheels I may go the 20” wheel route even though I love the style of my current 22’s.
  21. I’m currently running the 305 45/22’s and there is so little space between the tire and upper control arm that it’s scary, there’s no way your getting a 12.5 tire on the stock wheel without a spacer.
  22. That’s only a 32 x 11.xx tire
