Good evening fellas, looking for some advice on troubleshooting a 2005 silverado with the 4.3l V6. about two weeks ago i took the truck out to for some concrete and had it die a few times on start and had a very rough idle which all eventually smoothed out. Got my concrete run done and the truck stalled out getting into my driveway (lucky me) a few times. OBD Reader came back with a MAF sensor performance (P0101), MAP sensor performance (P0106) , throttle position sensor (P0121) , and catalytic converter efficiency codes (P0430).
I cleared all codes, reran the truck and got only the P0106 and P0101. Certain of a vacuum leak i pulled the intake plenum up to the throttle body. i found a rolled seal between the intake resonator and the throttle body and broken wire on the MAP sensor. "BINGO!" I thought.
I Replaced the MAP sensor, spliced a new harness in, and replaced the resonator to throttle body seal with a new O-ring.
Now it won't start at all, it'll crank and fire, just enough to disengage the starter, and then die. I did have it running for a few minutes, but i never idled or ran smooth.
Any advice? TIA
