  1. Brother I have no idea... I grew up lower middle class and for the life of me I can't figure out how people afford things these days. I felt dirty as hell getting my truck for 54k, but we thankfully only had to finance a small portion of the truck for a year. I see people in town in $80k+ trucks and I know where they work and what they make... no way in hell they can afford that truck!
  2. It's a great looking cluster. Simple and effective. Not trying to pick on anyone buying high-end truck models, but I refuse to buy a truck with all the bells and whistles these days. If it is comfy and tows well. Perfect. I couldn't believe my 2024 LT was $26k cheaper than the 2024 AT4 gasser for sale. Super beautiful truck... but not for $79k!
  3. Great video and makes me happy with the 10 speed. Also makes me miss that style center console and gauge cluster. The digital stuff is cool, but worried about it long-term.
  4. Love seeing all of you with GD trailers. We love ours! Coming up on 2 years of owning it. Plan on keeping ours till the kids are teenagers. I really want a 5th wheel Reflection... but can't justify it as we need the truck bed for my 120lb dog and meat smoker.
  5. @64BAwagon sorry for the delay, had to run up to Arkansas for some family stuff. Pulled the bulbs today. H11 and H9
  6. Good info and thanks for catching my erroneous 5mph comment earlier. 25 is the perfect spot and I assumed @Jettech1 already had his gain set high. Maybe just that simple of an adjustment @Jettech1? Still curious how you adjusted your brakes as well.
  7. My brake check is I drive down my driveway at 25 or so mph and manually hold the brake controller. If I can come to a stop and the trailer holds the truck, I set off on my way.
  8. @Jettech1 I know from the GD forums a lot of the Imagine trailers need the brakes adjusted on the trailer after 1k miles. How did you adjust them? I would be very surprised if the braking issue was in your truck. I've towed my Imagine a good 6k miles and haven't needed to adjust since I do the stop check like you performed before I venture on the roads.
  9. You couldn't be more right! My kids are 5 and 2 and love being outdoors and in the camper. We are cherishing these times as much as we can. Being out camping is the only way we can turn off the "craziness" of the world these days.
  10. Nice! Loving the TT. I have a 2022 Imagine 3250bh myself. Family loves these kind of trips
  11. @64BAwagon I should have time to pop out the stock halogens tomorrow. I bought some silverstars to help with my night driving. Yellow halogens just wash-out my vision.
  12. Bingo. If it's that bad - I just don't eat it and tell them I don't need anything else. Whatever comes back out is full of "things" I don't want to eat.
  13. Wish that run on the rollers included checking diffs haha
  14. True haha. If I'm in the drive thru at Jimmy Johns I always pay cash so they can get me my sammie before I tell them to pound sand on the tip as they fumble for cash.
  15. I'm noticing my city driving is a little better with the 10 speed to the tune of 1-3 mpgs better. Quicker shifts and keeping the engine in the powerband I can chug along at a lower rpm. Highway driving same rpm with the 10 speed as the 6 speed, so no mileage gains at all.
  16. Pretty crazy what used to be done back in the day. I'll never forget receiving my wife's 2019 1500 RST with the bed misaligned 3/4". Had to wait a couple weeks for the body shop to fix it. Sad that expecting the norm is exceptional these days. Yet every damned restaurant always has a "tip" question before paying.
  17. Glad you like the truck @IDBrett!
  18. Appreciate the info. Unless both the Service Advisor and Sales guy are lying to me - both stated they do test drive for pdi. Truck had 1 mile on the odometer pre-pdi when I first saw it, 4 miles when I got it officially. Hopefully that was for the pdi
  19. Yeah, I just wanted to confirm that was the same for 24s as well. Thankfully the dealership did.
  20. Dealership came through big time. I stopped up and my service advisor handed me a brand new qt of 75w90. I asked if low diffs are common - and he said "all the time." He claimed after pdi test drive, the tech should be checking and topping off as they KNOW this is common. He made a note to talk to the tech that did my pdi. He offered to have me drop off the truck but I told him I can handle it. Good to know some dealerships are still good
  21. Put my "a-hole" hat on and got more information about the 2024 from my dealer service team. Parts department can't pull up any info with my vin - too new was the excuse which is bs. Appears to be same rear-end as 20-23s. 3.17 Qts 75w90. Waiting for a call back to confirm the fill level below the fill plug hole.
  22. Yes sir. My TT is 9500lbs unloaded - roughly 11800lbs loaded and my 2021 6.6 gasser towed it with ease. Your mileage is spot on with mine as well after about 600 miles on the odometer.
  23. Nice! If you see a summit white 2024 CC running around with some bucees stickers say hi. I use mine to tow my 32' TT bumper pull. I had a 2021 gmc 6.6 gasser with the 6 speed and she towed our trailer flawlessly. I upgraded to the 10 speed because I was looking for a little "more" out of the towing experience and I know I'll get it.
  24. Same comments here from my 2024 LT as well. Love it! I spy some Classic Chev plates. You in DFW? I live out in Weatherford and picked mine up from Jerry's Chevrolet.
  25. @newdude really sorry to keep bugging you, my dealer is of no help. Can you confirm rear fill specs are the same on my 2024 as a 2023, as well as fluid being 75w90 for the rear? Manual says "see dealer" and my dealer is not helping.
