  1. Yup, I had these guys program my gauge cluster for my truck. Also, just double check behind the infotainment LCD that the radio connector A11 Radio X2 is there. It should be but ya never know. Check the image. http://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/ I think the guys name is Chris. Check out his website fully before sending or contact him first because hes specific about shipping. Does your year truck have an HMI behind the passenger compartment? Just wondering because I thought I read something about i03 trucks not having an HMI. :/ *Addition - you will have to buy a spool of 0.5-mm (I think that's 22 gauge in AWG) wire and the female terminal pins for adding the wire to the gauge cluster connector and wiretaps or know how to solder.
  2. I agree with you on the looks and functionality of the cluster and steering wheel controls. It's easy enough to do just study the connector changes. Don't mind the flow charts of circuitry these are just letting you know what circuit your adding it to. I purchased a new steering wheel (with the voice controls duh) a new clock-spring a new gauge cluster (I wish I would have bought a denali gauge cluster because they are so sweet, all LCD) I tried it first without swapping the clock-spring but the voice controls didn't work nor did it light up at night. So swap out the clock-spring.
  3. Hey bud, did you buy any of the wire terminals for the plugs? If so, where did you buy them?
  4. Hey Chris, I'm about to order the gauge cluster. Should I have it shipped directly to you?
  5. Awesome to hear that. I already have the new steering wheel with controls/heat. I figured, if I'm changing the steering I might as well swap out the boring monochrome cluster.
  6. Okay, let's do it. The part # for that cluster is 23448517 My truck VIN is 3GCPCPEC2EG460703
  7. Thanks for squaring that up, I was misinformed, sorry for the bad information. Chris, so if I purchased a new cluster from ebay like this one I can mail it to you and you can re-program it for my truck? What information do you need from me? Currently I have a monochrome gauge cluster and would like a new one like the link above.
  8. You need to have your BCM programmed to work with the new gauge cluster. So I hear, contact Chris white for programming. You'll need to ship it to him so you won't be able to use your truck while the BCM is pulled out. If you want the controls to work there is a thread here about that. The thread shows you how to install a heated steering wheel and the controls for the gauge cluster and radio controls. If I find it I will post it.
  9. Sounds easy enough, thanks for being prompt and very helpful. I might have more questions later. You're the man!
  10. Gosh! I'm terrible at reading circuit flow charts. I want to clarify 1 thing. When I cut the cables from the radio connector. (I'm attempting to post a pic of the radio connector, i hope it shows.) well here's the link for the pic These 2 cables will now go into the gauge cluster. Aren't pins 1 and 2 occupied on the gauge cluster? If so, do I solder or tap them in? If they aren't occupied I will just take the terminal and crimp it to the wire and insert it to the gauge connector. Then these 2 wires will return back to the radio connector pins 3&4 via gauge connector pins 17&18. Correct?
  11. I purchased this cover; https://goo.gl/iWQZbs One thing I didn't think about when purchasing this retractable cover was access to the stake pockets. I wanted to install thule racks for my paddle board but I couldn't access them because they were covered by the rail system used for the retractable cover. Anyway so another nice retractable cover that I found is here, and this cover gives you access to the stake pockets. This is something to think about. I didn't think I'd ever use the stake pockets...well. Hope this is useful information
