  1. Did the seats come from a wrecked truck? I’ve had to swap the seat belt tensioners before. A development of an airbag light requires some troubleshooting. For example... installing both factory seats and seeing if the airbag light goes away. If it does, then install the driver side seat first (leave factory passenger in). See if the lights comes on or not. If not, then add the passenger seat. If the light comes on then, then the issue is tied to the passenger seat. Usually the seat position sensor. If your factory seat didn’t come with one, then try swapping the seat belt tensioner. This is the part that the seat belt attaches to on the seat. You can to tackle this strategically and see which seat is causing the trigger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Did you get an airbag light after plugging both new seats in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Double check your USB connections. The front usb hub should have the grey end of the usb cable plugged in with the green going into the HMI. The compartment usb hub should be the brown feed at the front with Black going into the HMI. Make sure those are fully seated. If the front is working, this mean the green port is outputting. So double check that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. If you haven't yet, HarnessDR.com - There are two versions, 16-pin and 23-pin. 23-pin is a SEND IN service and is likely needed for most all 2014 trucks and some 2015 trucks. Some time in 2015, GM changed to the 16-pin version. https://harnessdr.com/product/16-pin-center-console-conversion-harness/ https://harnessdr.com/product/23-pin-center-console-conversion-harness/
  5. This depends on if you have an HMI with the Green and Black ports and how you routed those cables. Using the black port of the HMI and brown end, will feed the inside Hub of the console. Green to the HMI with grey end to the front USB hub. There are some reports that some are having no output of out their green USB port of the HMI. This may be your issue. There are a few things that can be done to trouble shoot. One way, is to take the inside hub physically out and test it up in the front and see if it behaves the same. 6. There are a number of things that will cause the inside compartment USB hub to not work. 1. Does the SUB Hub have an SD Card slot? 2. What year truck? 3. What USB Cable combination are you using? 4. What happens when you plug a phone in using the USB cable? 4. Are both USB Ports and the 3.5mm aux jack not working?
  7. DL3 mirrors are the smaller power fold mirrors, not tow mirrors. So confirm if you can. DPN and DQS mirrors are tow mirrors. DQS is the power fold version. RZY is needed for 2014 trucks. That will take care of the cabin/under the hood side. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yep. So in this case, you would need DQS Mirrors. That should take of it. You can sell your DPN to help recoup some of the costs. I can get DQS Mirrors for $1058 shipped (plus PayPal fee) if interested. PM me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Tinkering Fox provided some great info on the different types of light bar harnesses and how they are configured. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The RZY harness is needed for ALL 2014 trucks and some 2015 trucks. Since your truck is 2014, you’ll will need it. Your truck won’t have pins 9 and 11 in the door jamb connector. In addition, you will need to decide how you want to get the mirror lights to mate with the door jamb connector. I have solutions for all this. A complete door harness set, a lower cost DIY wire kit, and can supply the RZY harness as well. Let me know which path you want to go with. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Check your Glove Box RPO codes. It likely shows DL3 which are the smaller power fold mirrors. You still have the power fold switch? It is likely that the previous had them swapped out and installed DPN mirrors instead of DQS Mirrors. If the power fold switch is there and they don’t fold, they are likely DPN mirrors. Can you confirm that: 1. The red arrow in the glass lights up when you use the turn signal? 2. Does the amber forward light come on when your manually turn your headlights on? 3. Does the white light come with to push the cargo light button? If you answer yes to all 3, then they installed the correct harness, but put DPN mirrors instead of DQS. 12. I have no issue if someone reports an issue with product. Feedback (both positive and negative) is important. It provides me the ability to continue to enhance the product/service. What year is the truck? In the video that Tinkering Fox released on this upgrade, he was the brains on this upgrade and performed the upgrade on his personal truck. His truck is a 2015 truck. I tested it on my 2016 truck. After reading the documentation on this upgrade, it was disclosed that 2014 and some 2015 trucks may not have their BCM programmed for this feature. So if your truck is 2014-2015, there is that possibility. If you’re 2016, it should work. There has been 1-2 trucks (2016+) that have reported it not work. We are not sure why for those. I’ve got on the back burner, a solution for these trucks in that year range with that issue. The issue - with the Pandemic going on, the demand for popular upgrades have increased my lead times to get products built/shipped. So I’ve been very busy cranking out orders. Hope this helps and look forward to hearing from You. I’ll respond as I am able to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. DL3 mirrors are not tow mirrors. You might be referring to DPN and DQS mirrors which are. The reverse light coming on at night when you unlock the truck via key fob is a factory intended operation. I believe there is a setting in your radio with how your exterior lights behave and might be able to turn that off specifically when unlocking.
  14. A few things. DL3 Mirrors refers to the smaller power folding mirrors found on LTZ/HC, SLT/Denali trucks. So don’t confuse DL3 as tow mirrors. Since your truck is a 2014, you will need the door harnesses and the harnesses for inside the truck/under the cabin. So this is correct. Also, many aftermarket mirrors are not build to GM specs... so custom harnesses are usually needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. There are several variations of mirrors that 1A Auto sells. So each harness I build is tailored specifically to that mirror and your truck's configuration. The install is not going to be Plug and Play without a harness swap or modification. In addition, you'll need a supplementary harness for inside the truck cabin and under the hood. Please provide the model # to the mirrors you're looking at from 1A Auto. Yep. Some early model 2015 trucks will also need the RZY Harness. Also, not all 1A Auto mirrors are designed the same so some harness customization is required.
  16. Aftermarket = aftermarket GM Factory Power Fold Tow Mirrors run over $500 each not including shipping. Parts counter at the dealer is $750ish each. You might be able to find a used pair for $500-$700 but you take that risk. The only aftermarket power fold I’ve hand my hands are Trail Ridge mirrors sold by 1A Auto/AM Auto. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I can source them from my GM Parts Supplier. They are $1058 for the pair shipped anywhere in the lower 48. This is a volume based priced I have arranged. $31.91 PayPal fee added to the invoice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
