    I thought I was going to be the lucky one who didn't have this issue.....unfortunately it got me as well. New condenser and hose bracket this morning, now I'm back on the road. My truck is a 2016 with 65k miles.

    If anyone is looking for a 2016 Blue/Green cluster, this one popped up on eBay this morning. This is the first one I have seen in a year that was used on eBay. Was going to do this for my Silverado, but on the fence about keeping the truck.     Someone asked earlier about having a backup camera that can be controlled while in motion. I have the Rostra interface installed on my truck and put a 3rd brake light camera on as an option. This system also lets you mirror your phone, and can add a 360* view with cameras if you’d like. Easy to install, just takes time to make sure wires get tucked cleanly behind the dash.     I believe it had the USB receptacle on one side, and a pin connector on the other. I’d snap a picture of it, but it is in my attic inside of the jump seat. I bought the cable that is from GM to run USB from the glovebox to the triple (from what understood) but it wouldn’t power with just a USB. I’m sure that is where splicing comes into play, but I didn’t feel comfortable with that part of it, so I went the route of having just 12v and 110v up front. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    I read it but didn’t comprehend it to the point that I felt comfortable. I found the plate from 2014 that didn’t have the USB and went that route. A little bummed but I didn’t have the USB before with a jump-seat, and I still have my console USB and Glovebox USB if needed. My 12v skills are novice with the new vehicles, haha.     I took the harness from my jump seat and used it to make connections. It wasn’t tough, anyone with basic 12 volt skills can knock it out. The only splice I had to do was for the console light. Everything else hooked up. I couldn’t get the front 3 USB to work so I did buy a plate for the front that only has 2 12v and 110v outlets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    I ordered a console for a 2015 Silverado and I have a 2016. It was about $100 cheaper at the time. I don’t have the wireless charging lid (wish I did), but my cup holders are removable (don’t think they are on the 2016-newer models). You’ll be fine with any console from 2014-on.     I had mine done by a shop. They quoted me 1.5 hours of labor. With the alignment and 7% tax, I was at $266 OTD.

    Gotcha. Mine has the 3 USB up front. I really don't miss the functionality of it, but it bugs me a bit that it doesn't work. I've seen where people had retrofitted rocker switches into in the spaces, maybe I can do that here for back up lights/aux instead if I can't get it to work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    Thank you for the write up. Quick question that I have, how did you power the 3 USB on the front? I have the USB cable to run the CarPlay from the glovebox, but it didn't work. I assume it is the power that I didn't know where to tap from. I have the old harness that I can still grab wiring from if needed.

    I have a set of weather techs now in my CC. I am waiting on a set of GM ones to come in the mail that I bought from a member on here. Once I get them, weather techs will be replaced. They curled on both the driver and passenger side. I have tried all I can think of to get them to straighten out but no dice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

    I bought the shocks through Autoanything.com and took them with me. The shocks can be adjusted up to 1.87" i believe in the front. I left mine stock height since I already had a level up front. Auto Anything will match prices as well, I got all 4 shocks for $344.

    I had my fronts done yesterday at a local Tire Kingdom. They quoted me 1.6 hours which was $175 in labor. I added an alignment for $75, and was out the door for a bit over $250. I did the rears myself, took about 20 minutes. All you need for the rear is a couple 21mm (i believe that was the size) wrenches. All together I have a little under $600 in the setup.

    I saw that a couple people were asking where to get the console at a good price. I went through Rydell Chevrolet (parts.rydellchev.com). I paid $625 shipped to my door ( I am in FL and they are in ND). No issues, item was packed well, and they were easy to get ahold of through the process. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
