    back from trip to Fort Wayne Indiana all was smooth , Saturday morning got in truck and headed south on I-77 and the shake was back again !!! Started shaking at about 60 MPH , after about 20 miles shaking stopped !!! This dam truck is like a crazy woman !!!! LOL oops noticed some of my gas mileage was up at 25.3 MPG on the trip

    Just got back from a trip to Fort Wayne Indiana about 250 mile each way [ took Rt 30 ] , to my surprise the old gal did not shake !!! I'm running about 40 PSI in the tires now , [ PSI got up to 42 PSI when warm ] and rides a little rough but no shaking , top speed was 74 MPH !!! This is from a truck that I have told GM two times that it is unsafe to drive and I mean that !!! This truck would shake so bad it was Unbelievable , the steering wheel was hard to hold onto . Truck has almost 32,000 on it now so I knocking on wood I guess !!! I have noticed GM must be adjust the setting on the truck weekly as the tran shifting is best ever and smooth ! Gas mileage about 23 MPG The seats in the gal are still a pile of dog poo as far as I'm concerned and a real pain in the A$$

    Got in my truck this morning to go golfing , turned onto St Rt 212 took it up to about 45 and sounded worse than a freight train ! Was like driving down a gravel road I changed speeds several times and the noise was still there, it has never did this before ! After golf drove up to Canton and truck was running quite and perty smooth . On return trip took up to 72 and VERY , VERY light vibration up front [ most people would not notice ] and ride was smooth ! This hunk of junk needs to be recycled into a boat anchor , seems every day it now does something else and i'm beging to think onstar has something to do with all these problems !!! I had a 2010 and one morning heading east on I 70 I for some reason had a can of pepsi sitting in the consol , well after about 40 mile I decided to pop the top and that dam thing exploded all over my truck so i'm thinking this problem has been around longer than most people think . I stopped at local dealer and they had to changed several settings , I ask how they got changed and got no reply !!!!! OnStar OnStar screwing with my truck !!!!!!!! and not the first time either , dirty bastards

    Well i guess i have to eat crow , the hunk of GM junk came back to life today ! Drove up to Canton Ohio on I 77 and my Silverado came to life , sounded like a old steam engine and shaking up front ! The noise started on the 50 MPH range and i took her up to 70 and you need ear plugs if you wanted to listen to the radio , i night as well had the windows down the noise was that bad ! Dear sweet Mary is just like Obama , two liars in a pod ! I will do a oil change in about 500 miles and there is a lot of things under the truck I want to check out ! I see no way this truck can take this punishment much longer and I have told GM that it is unsafe to drive but when one is a liar nothing bothers them !!!!!!!!!!!!

    Well people i will not tell you how i stopped my 2015 silverado crewcab from shaking as my guess General Motors could care less ! I did this on the side and it seems to work also , i upped the air pressure in my tires to 40 PSI !! She rides a little hard but that is better than trying to hold onto the sterring wheel for dear life at 70 MPH !! I liked the other fix better but my guess GM is watching my truck like a chicken hawk looking for a meal and I will not tell them , as far as i'm concerned they are way over paid !! Bet I get some rude replys to this post

    Well I got my windshield fixed and the welds on the front roof post were ok and we really looked them over good . The bad news is the shake is getting worse so my guess it is just a matter of time before this truck really breaks ! I will not do anything to stop it from shaking up front even tho my fix has worked in the past ! When you have days that you can take it up to 74 MPH and the truck is so smooth and quite that should tell the GM engineers something ! This joke is kind of like the GM key joke !! Hey just one more thing on my truck it has nothing to do with the D shaft , axles , pinion , wheels or the frame !!! Now I will let you smart guys figure it out as there is NOT much left to look at !

    Thursday morning will be getting windshield replaced , I want to see the welds on the truck when the guy pulls the panels off

    Hey C6Bill Just wanted to tell the world got in my truck to got to town and to my surprise my windshield is broken , now I wonder how that happened

    ​Hey bill I forgot to tell you the real important stuff , I filled up about 1 mile from the interstate and drove about 136 miles and my MPG was the lowest ever 17.1 !!! Past trips same road well over 22 MPG ,,, hint my guess GM will be getting big repair bill soon as a machine can not stand the abuse this truck has taken !

    Hey C6Bill ​You sound like a typical engineer that never got out of his baby crib ! Note some people just get into what ever they are driving and never pay attention to what it is trying to tell them , hint I was a farmer and being a farmer you listen to your machine !

    Drove the Silverado to Columbus Ohio Friday was ok going down , only went up to 71 MPH on the interstate . Came home Tuesday morning truck running smooth at 70 MPH and decided to take her up , ok at 71 , took to 72 not perfect , took to 73 MPH and the steering wheel started shaking , went back down to 70 smooth again , back up to 73 MPH and shaking again ! I have been experimenting with my truck and know what is causing the shaking up front ! We all know that GM engineers read this form so I will wait to see if someone has the balls to contact me but I will not hold my breath !!!!!!!!! I'm sure they will not believe what is wrong

    Will be driving the shaking Silverado to Columbus this weekend , last time shaking like hell going part way down . Coming home could not have been any better , this dam think is like a crazy women ! I go to dinner about 1 time a week and two weeks ago was bad , steering wheel shaking on the way to town and on the way home everything ok . Today I drove a short distance maybe up to 45 and you could tell it was ready to come apart , a truck can not take this punishment something has to give . I checked my motor oil and it is dirty [Synthetic Oil ] and I have about 36 % oil life left and I do not do city driving , most out on the 65 to 70s interstate

    Guys I kind of have a question , the lugs are tork to 140 Lb on the Silverado ! Now think just 1 minute , there is no way to bring them all in even to that setting unless you have one of them big tools like at the factory where all are tork at once. Could when a person trys to tork the lugs 1 at a time be warping the plate where the studs are attached ? My older Silverados all were tork to 110 if I remember correctly , this plate should be at least 3/8 if not even 1/2 inch thick. Think about this because as another poster stated he had wobble at the studs so this would have to be the cause !

    I do not know if this has to do with the vibration issues in my 2015 silverado crew cab but here goes . I was going down a steep hill and put the brakes on enough to slow to road conditions , when i left off the brakes maybe 2 seconds bang on the brakes went and up against the seat belts i went , I was shocked to say the least ! I was NOT pulling a trailor or anything just driving my truck . This happened another time I was driving up I 77 at Canton Ohio and some one cut in front of me and I tapped the brakes , about 2 seconds later the brakes came on again but not real hard. I have had my truck in 3 times for the vibration problem and the first time the dealer Chuck Nicholson more or less refused to do any thing , said I had to pay to get tires balanced [ only cost about $52.00 ] and tough luck . I stopped back in and complained again and they said they could put on the vibration machine and if they do not find anything I have to pay for it . I took my truck to dealer that I got it from and they worked on it about 2 hours , said tires were complete wrong [ not balance worth a dam ] truck shake now at higher speed and sounds like a truck with a flat spot on the tire , goes thump thump thump at high speed , just put one of the back windows down and put on your ear protection
