    Why yes, yes they are! I like the OEM style, but not really most of the Chevy wheels. I do like the GMC, so I got some take offs from a Yukon owner who was getting spinners.

    This is the look I was going for with mine, just got tired of the chromed out honeycomb version. Never saw the one you have, so I took off mine and painted it, reassembled, and have been driving it for 6 months. Looks just like yours, and the look is MUCH better IMO than the chromed version. Ironically, I've gotten rid of the same-color door handles and door trim and gone to chrome. Some people are never satisfied. ETA, didn't drag the photo with for some reason, so here it is below this post.

    Cheating a bit, but I have a 2.5" RC lift (with block in rear) and Toyo Open Country 285/75/18's (34.6" per tire calculator): Might not be what you're looking for, but I like the slightly more full wheelwell.

    So am I understanding correctly that this device plugs in and keeps the 5.3 in 8 cylinder mode full time? If so, what kind of mpg are you getting without the benefit of the "sometimes" 4 cylinder mode?

    Even with the extra weatherstripping, mine will still let 2-3 trickles of water into the bed. It's kinda turned into a game for me, to go open the cover after a rain and see where it leaked. Every blue moon it'll be along the bedrails at the junction of two of the panels, which makes sense; you can't seal the side of the hinged joint when it sits up over the rails, right? Either way, mine is dry enough that I'd haul almost anything I needed to, including wifey's luggage, with no fear of it getting wet.

    Bonjosco3ss, when you get more info, would you let us know? I have a '15, but the acceleration has always been a bit anemic, even before upsizing tires. If a $60 part would fix that, I'd be happy. If there is programming involved, can the older model be reprogrammed, or is that why (like Grumpy said and I agree with) they came out with the later model pedal?

    That's almost identical to what I used. The GM design has a significant gap at the top of the sidewall/tailgate interface anyhow, so (IMHO) any cover you purchase is going to leave that gap unaddressed. The extra weatherstripping does help.

    I have a different cover than both of yours, but could still see daylight through the corners. Didn't get a lot of rain, and what did come down essentially never got over the ridges of the bed floor, but it was irritating. Installed a couple extra pieces of the seal kit in those spots both on the gate and the sidewall, and it virtually eliminated the light AND the water flow. Doesn't look too bad either....

    That's a nice looking truck! I didn't care for my polished chrome 20's that came on my Chevy, but your setup on that GMC looks just right.

    Yes, they sit closer to the ground and smell like Geritol and Ben Gay.

    I did the same with my 2015 Crew, same wheels with some Toyo Open Country 34.6" tires. Really like the look of those wheels on my Brownstone 4x4.

    Here's mine, 2015 Silverado Crew with Toyo Open Country AT 34.5's, RC 2.5" lift, Fold-A-Cover Tonneau. Not a great pic, kids were playing and I'm easily distracted....

    I have a 2015 crew cab with black window trim on the bottom, would love to find someone with chrome who wants to swap out. Also want chrome door handles, if anyone is swapping out their chrome (mine are the brown color matched version).

    I can promise you, had I been able to locate one for sale used, I'd have been all over it. May I ask, why did you remove it? For my purposes, it takes up about the same room as the previous aluminum toolbox did, though it has slightly less room and sits deeper.

    I recently got the Fold-A-Cover G4 Elite along with the Personal Caddy storage unit. I chose this setup because I could go from my old tool box to this unit, move all my toolbox stuff to the Personal Caddy, and then access it through the front access without having to flip the whole thing up to get to my tools. I can still fold the rear of the bed up to expose as much of the bed as I had available back when the toolbox was there, but now it stays dry and secure the rest of the time.
