  1. I have a Garmin that is fuse tapped into the heated steering wheel fuse, and it works great!
  2. Another take from TFL https://youtu.be/sGqf6MGQTUc
  3. With reports popping up left and right about rust issues with the newly redesigned F-150s, made me wonder if any of you are getting any surface rust underneath your pickup. I remember my 2004, 2015, 2016 Silverado’s/Sierras all had surface rust, mainly on the steel frame, so nothing really to worry about. My 2020 seems to be holding up much better. https://www.caranddriver.com/news/amp35726969/2021-ford-f-150-pickups-rust-reported/
  4. Definitely the tranny. I once caught a tech talking about the shudder and how they couldn’t really do much about it when he test drove it (dash cam audio). But they did do an update and swapped the oil and it fixed 80% of it. Doesn’t really bother me as much.
  5. For some reason I’m not finding anything on OEM Direct Fit, any chance you have a link?
  6. Is it still possible to replace just the blade in the windshield wipers? Or is it better to just replace the whole thing?
  7. Yes, here is the write up
  8. Our utility companies purchase this color in bulk (OG&E)
  9. Do you happen to know where the missing bolt is? Maybe I can look for it
  10. Definitely not the dash. It’s on the side, not in front
  11. Do these things rattle and buzz more when it's cold out? I have now developed this nice noise, but it's harder to pin down than one might think. Sounds like it is coming from behind the drivers' side door handle, but I am thinking it is coming from the fuse cover area where the defrost vent is. Anyone else have this happen to them? Apologize for the crappy video. IMG_0583-2.mp4
  12. That's the weird thing - I dont. I have the 2.7T.
  13. Having a hard time finding any information on this. We are in the middle of some record-setting cold, and upon startup the message “Heater Performance Mode Active” popped up on my screen. Can anyone tell me what this does?
  14. This is what is getting advertised here in Oklahoma right now.
  15. Took my truck in yesterday for this and one other thing - took 5 min!
  16. Interesting. Took it to the dealer yesterday - they told me there is a TSB on it, and have ordered the parts to fix it.
  17. This would be such a good addition... but no way for $750.
  18. Anyone else get a buzzing sound in the B pillar when accelerating around 30+ mph? Sounds like a plastic type buzz. Taking the truck in for the recall on Tuesday, if anyone has any suggestions to help point them in the right direction I’d appreciate it!
  19. I know someone had a thread that mentioned these, but I can't seem to find it. I believe it was for Christmas gift ideas. Can someone link it, or drop your favorite mods/accessories?
  20. No kidding - they are struggling with almost every category!
  21. May I ask why you drive it? Resale value is through the roof, now is the time to trade in! I thought about it to get a better trim and I haven't had any major issues with mine.
  22. I get it. Hope you got whatever reaction you're looking for. If this isn't sarcasm, go buy yourself a Ford. They are great trucks!
  23. The news was released yesterday. Not old. These are sales numbers, not Consumer Reports opinions or Motor Trend Truck of the Year. I didn’t mention any awards lol. They are simply numbers. I have no issue with combining GM numbers, since they are all but identical and fall under the same umbrella. If you read the article, it mentions all that. If Ford still built a Lincoln truck, I would fully expect them to combine the numbers. You can't compare just Ford and Chevy on this report because Ford COMBINES their Super Duty pickups in their numbers.
  24. I’m betting they jump back into the top spot with the redesign, but man their newly design trucks are expensive! I agree, I can’t trust Ram, either. It’ll be interesting to see the numbers when GM refreshes the interiors. It’ll also be interesting to see the numbers when the new Tundra gets thrown in the mix.
  25. Say what you want about the pandemic or Ford moving to a new generation of their pickups, this is still pretty impressive. Guess people don't hate the new designs as much as this forum suggests. https://tfltruck.com/2021/01/2020-sales-report-news/
