  1. Thinking about looking to see if the HD Intermediate Steering Shaft, which was revised for a very similar issue, would fit and work.
  2. Considering putting this on my 1500 . Am on my third intermediate shaft and it still pops in the steering.
  3. Still chasing down a weird issue I’ve had for a while now — wondering if anyone else is experiencing something similar. Basically, when I accelerate from a stop, I feel a small tapping or thud in the steering wheel. Sometimes it’s subtle, sometimes more noticeable, like a quick thump. It tends to happen: When turning right onto a bumpy road Or going straight up an incline or slope It feels like it comes from the steering column or shaft area, maybe right where the boot is. The dealer already replaced the intermediate steering shaft, but the sensation is still there. Nothing loose that I can tell, no clicking or grinding, just that split-second pop/tap feeling right when the load shifts. Is this just normal driveline or suspension movement transferring through the steering? Has anyone else chased this before? Or am I just being too picky/******?
  4. I have started noticing small tapping vibrations in my 2024 GMC Sierra with the 3.0, mainly when turning left over a bump or while backing up. I’ve also noticed a slight tap in the steering wheel when hard stopping or accelerating—almost like play in the steering shaft. Given the cold and dry conditions, I initially assumed the grease at the firewall boot might be drying out. I applied some white lithium grease to see if it would help, but it didn’t seem to make much of a difference—the issue still persists. Has anyone else experienced this? I’m concerned that since it’s not easy to replicate on demand, a dealer might not be much help. Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
  5. I rotate every 7500 miles, don't tow, and definitely dont race the truck, so im not sure. I wish they had a warranty, cause no way will they get to 60,000.
  6. Will definitely be going with some Michelins!
  7. I’m in the same boat. I have 31k on my truck and the Alenzas are close to the wear bar!
  8. Will be needing tires here soon and have the 22” Denali Ultimate wheels. Looking at the Michelin Defenders - anyone have experience with these? Would also be looking at an AT tires, but worry they’d take away from quiet ride. Any suggestions?
  9. I have this odd vibration noise that usually only starts when its a warm day and gets louder in reverse (more vibration). No, I havent and probably wont take it to the dealer because it is so difficult to replicated. It is definitely coming from the airbox(?) under the lower glovebox. So far, I have reduced the noise a bit by stuffing socks between the firewall and the box. Has anyone had anything similar? Goes away after it warms up.
  10. It take like three screws and 5 minutes to totally disassemble that lower glovebox.
  11. It's tucked back in there. For the future, it's so much easier to just pop the ring off the glove box tab so it stays in the damper. If you can't seem to fish it out, it's really easy to remove that lower glove box. I can share a video on how to do that, if needed.
  12. I have the slight pop when turning left to right in my steering wheel. It’s hard to hear in the video, and initially, I didn’t think it was anything, but my wifes new Yukon doesn’t do it. It could be normal, just figured I would ask. So… is it normal? You can totally make fun of me if so. IMG_2223.mp4
  13. What is a pi? And where can I find the harness or the lines?
