  1. adaptive cruise control, one more gimmick that creates less attention while driving. You want an auto-pilot next? Tesla's coming out with a truck, just wait and buy their's
  2. The dealers Tech 2 is much more in depth than your standard scanner. I've seen cars with stored codes and no check engine light on so it's possible. But more important is documenting the issue now while it's still under warranty in case it gets worse after the warranty. It's more of a cover your a$$ type situation
  3. Agree with foghorn here,if you don't know what it is take it in while it's still under warranty. Or don't and pay cash when it breaks while you wait on answers here
  4. I had a Yamaha YFZ 450 and I'm getting the itch to buy another I think. I miss the dunes
  5. Picked up a new 17 Silverado and now at approx 1600 miles and I have noticed on the freeway there's a loose feeling from the rear end. Best way I can describe it is like a bounce or jerky side to side as if you were on a boat. It's really strange
  6. Summer carry is a Springfield XDS 9 and cooler weather is a Glock 19 gen 3.
  7. Hypertech now has a tune available for the 2017's. The AFM settings on it allow you to set it up for certain speeds or disable it completely. Its very easy to put it back to stock (less than 5 min). I actually am selling my Hypertech if you're interested, it's part#2000 that I tested on a 2017 Silverado. Save you some money if thats what you're looking for
  8. Very first thing I did was by a tuner and turn off the AFM, I don't like it or need it. Not to mention the exhaust sounds terrible when it goes into V4 mode. I've heard a lot of guys run the Range AFM disable tool but have had issues with it because it stays plugged into the OBD2 unlike a tuner.
