  1. have a part number?
  2. Opt7 has a y splitter that plugs into the 4way on trailer
  3. glad i found this thread and now know that I am not the only one experiencing this... purchased a BRAND NEW set of OEM projectors to install on my LT and had the same thing happen after a decent rain, and a decent temp change.... Ill be going with the moisture packet deal if it continues to be an issue
  4. i have my own... ill give her another shot... now that i have it painted... maybe itll look better since the paint is covering the outer edge... thanks
  5. see... i tried vinyl first... didnt like it... vinyl wouldn't conform down into the gaps around the perimeter of the bowtie... and could always see gold
  6. what did you use on the steering wheel bowtie? i just did mine as well (with plastidip) not 100% satisfied with it so may do it again
  7. I just did the bowties on my wheels as well... i used vinyl and then sprayed a couple coats of clear over the caps...
  8. got the front bowtie done and put back on... i have masked off the wheel center caps and doing those in black too... next will be the bowtie on the steering wheel... after that, all gold bowties will be BLACK!!!! if i could only change the programming on the computer to have the one on the dash and radio be black..... .pgamboa??? thoughts? hahaha... kidding
  9. not sure who makes it... but with dry filters... i just check them periodically... every 7500-10000 miles usually... you can literally just tap them clean... or if a little dirtier, rinse them (opposite of airflow) and let air dry.. really depends on the roads you drive... i live on gravel, so i typically clean them every 10k or so... some may not need it til 15 or 20k
  10. front is getting cleared now
  11. was going to paint... but didnt want to ruin them if it didnt turn out... if this doesnt hold ill remove and paint
  12. I did... I used about 7-8 coats of plastidip.... (nothing too heavy on the coats)... then about 4-5 coats of clear enamel
  13. let me know if those fit in the projectors AND you can get the dust cap back on... Ive been eyeing those but dont want to spend $100+ and HOPE they work
  14. they do look 100% better than the reflectors... JUST installed them and haven't been out at night yet... a little bummed as my Opt7 LEDs will not fit in the low beam (due to the projector taking up too much room) so ill be running halogens for now.... but i was actually quite impressed with my stock reflector's light output.... I can only hope/imagine these will be better... Got them from a member here actually..
  15. installed OEM projectors on my LT front bowtie off being painted....
