  1. The headlights in my truck are terrible and I want to upgrade the bulbs. Looked at some older posts and saw recommendations for Morimoto HID kits. Is this still the go to or are there any new recommendations with the advances in led technology? How’s the install? Thanks in advance.
  2. I have the 2" level and put 275/65/20 on with no rub issues whatsoever. I had to zip tie the rear of the front liners but that's no big deal. You will run into problems when you start trying to go wider with the Factory 20s.
  3. No problem. Also meant to add, I lost a couple mpg but I figure that's to be expected with bigger/heavier tires.
  4. Thanks! So far road noise has been minimal and the ride has been fairly smooth. It drives a bit more like a truck now but stock it drives like a Cadillac so no complaints. I had to take it back on the check the balance as I was getting vibration over 70. Guy said these tires need to be rebalanced sometimes... all good now.
  5. BFG KO2 275/65/20 - no rubbing issue with 2" RC level and zip tied liners.
  6. Just put them on yesterday. Seems like they are good to go. I had to zip tie the liners to make them fit but other than that, they fit with he 2" level. I'll be driving it a bit over the weekend so we'll so if there are any rubbing issues but so far I haven't noticed any. It seems that as long as you stick with the stock tire width you can go up to a 34 with the 2" level.
  7. Is there any chance in fitting a 275/65/20 with a 2" lift? I was leaning towards a 275/60/20 and saw a post on another site by a user who said he was able to fit the 275/65/20 with no rub. I just measured they clearance with my 275/55/20 and it seems I only have about 1-1.5" to work with. Anyone have first hand experience?
  8. Kits made by rough country
  9. ... have you had any of the rubbing issues that have been mentioned? I wonder if the difference in the 2" kit vs the 2.5" is causing rub issues.
  10. Oh Man... So the lift alone (everything else stock) caused rubbing due to the alignment change. That sucks! Looks like I need a new truck. So the only work around is to get new wheels... spacers wont solve it? What about going with a legit lift like a 4.5" or something? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. Man that's Crazy. I appreciate the head up in advance. They guy at my shop said I could probably pull off a 285/55/20 but wouldn't recommend I go to a 295/55/20. He said he just dealt with a similar situation on the same truck. Out of curiosity, what size tire where you trying to run? Did you try your stock 275/55/20 with the level kit and still have issues? Did you consider the rough country kit that combines the 2" level with the 1.25" body kit? They claim this kits is made to run 33s on 20s. Anyone have experience with this kit? I'm strongly considering it.
  12. Thanks! Are you familiar with Rouch Country's 3.25" kit that combines the 2" level and 1.25" Body kit? I'm consider it as they claim you can run 33's on it... Might be an option. I know you said the 3.5" is junk and I'm not sure I want the 4.75" lift. Just consider options.

  14. Thanks for the info. I'll have to check them out.
  15. The guy at my local shop is saying that with the 20's I might get rubbing issues with the 295 and he's recommending the 285/55/20. Any experience? I would be surprised if I couldn't go more than 1" bigger than what I have for stock tires but don't want to risk the rubbing issue.
  16. No worries. I appreciate the advice. I was leaning towards the 3.5" from RC so good to know its no good. Do you know what size tire I can comfortably fit if I get the 2.5" leveling kit from RC? I don't want rubbing issues. Any preference between Nitto ridge grapplers or Toyo open country mts for a daily driver?
  17. Thanks for the feedback... I knew there would be some good experience lean on
  18. Looking for some advice. I've got a 2015 sierra with stock 275/55/20s. I'm looking at the rough country 2.5" leveling kit or the 3.5" suspension kit. Looking to keep my stock wheels for now and put Nitto ridge grapplers or toyo open country mts on. What's the recommended combo?
  19. Looking for some advice. Got a 2015 Sierra with stock 275/55/20. Debating between the rough country 2.5" level kit and 3.5" suspension kit. Any suggestions?
