  1. Naw, it was on the driveshaft! ?
  2. Absolutely. Stock wheels are somewhere around +18 offset for reference. Negative offsets are hard to make work without trimming stuff.
  3. There is no sub-frame on your truck. They are apparently confused on what lift you have installed and are giving you wrong advice. If all you have is a 2" level kit, there is no sub-frame. Even if there were, there is no way to simply "move it forward" and to suggest it is ignorant. I used to respect Custom Wheel Offsets but what I just read calls that into question. ?
  4. Ok, the struts are part number 84535467. Stock coil springs are reused.
  5. Yeah, LT tires are the spawn of Satan. Rough riding bastards. And HEAVY AS HELL! These Grapplers weigh 47lbs - exactly the same as the stock Bridgestones. No loss of power, no rubbing/trimming, and speedo/odo remain correct.
  6. Most every review I saw on the Duratracs said they were noisy. Most every review I saw on the Grapplers commented specifically on how quiet they were. They are noisier than the Bridgestones for sure, but not obnoxious at all. My Toyo Open Country R/Ts on my 2017 were much louder.
  7. Yes they are. And I went with them for that exact same reason.
  8. Got rid of the craptastic Bridgestones and got some proper truck tires - Ridge Grapplers FTMFW!
  9. I got your PM. I'll look tonight and let you know.
  10. What does your work order say specifically regarding work performed?
  11. So, you're saying 1/4" taper on a 5" tall block solved all your issues? Interesting. I tried the OEM 1/4" shim in both directions with and without lift block installed and the issue persisted through all configurations (my block was only 3" tall too). I believe the issue is in the driveline somewhere but I'm going to have to take it to a shop with more experience measuring and correcting angles to figure it out.
  12. Unfortunately, it is not bright enough to see in reflections of other vehicles in front of you. You can sometimes see it though if you pull up in front of windows at a store or something. It is on anytime the headlights are on. It is "T-ed" into the headlight harness for power right behind the headlight.
  13. It comes on any time the headlights are on.
  14. Did you pull back on and "unclick" the red locking tab? You have to do that and then you can depress the tab on the light harness to unplug it.
  15. The trucks have a stock shim on the bottom of the spring back (thin end of shim toward rear of truck). Adding a tapered lift block cancels out the shim. Believe me, I tried EVERY combination and the rumbling/vibration is ever-present.
  16. This will do nothing to solve the issue. I tried blocks in both directions, different height blocks, and shim vs. no shim. The issue is something else with these trucks....not the lift blocks.
  17. This is a cry from your truck for help - "Please do not send me through these horrible torture chambers any more!" ?
  18. Will not work. Sierra hooks are vertical, Silverado hooks are horizontal.
  19. Took the front chin spoiler off....looks MUCH better now!
  20. Make you some big cardboard signs describing your problem and the lack of resolution, post them on the sides of your truck, and park it just across the street from the dealership. If they don't call within a few minutes, call the local news station out there to speed things up.
  21. I have not tried Range device yet - I am still deciding how I want to do it with my Amp steps also needing to be plugged into the OBD2 port. I may just unplug them temporarily to run the Range and see what happens. I'm betting it won't help. I'm tempted to pull the plug on the rear diff to check fluid level.
  22. Have any of you who have had their trucks into the dealer for this issue gotten any feedback on it? I'm starting to think maybe it's in the rear diff??? I've not read anyone mention this.....wondering if GM didn't fill it properly or something.
  23. I do this ALL THE TIME. My wife is not very observant. On second thought, that's probably exactly why she married me in the first place.
  24. Otay Buckwheat! ?
  25. Let us know if you can access the backside to route the wiring cleanly/properly without having to remove the grille.
