  1. If it had the GM Accessory lift installed then the kit should have come with a new taller jack. The stock jack should lift the Trailboss just fine but if the accessory lift was installed it sounds like someone may not have replaced the jack with the new one provided in the kit.
  2. Last I checked I believe they were mostly available, didn't check all of those numbers though. I am missing the previous model year console swap, GM included most of the parts in the main console assembly. I figured sharing those .pdfs was going to be the best way to help out. 3. Hi guys! I may not have my 2016 Silverado anymore but I helped many people with this upgrade on the previous body style (which was much easier and less part numbers required). I attached some helpful .pdf files for part numbers needed, these are based on a 2019 High Country Silverado 1500, black, with wireless charging (K4C). I am more than happy to assist with different options you may be looking for, I would just need a VIN from a truck with the exact console you want. I am not on here daily anymore but feel free to contact myself or one of our other reps at [email protected]. 2019 CONSOLE (1).pdf 2019 CONSOLE (2).pdf 2019 CONSOLE (3).pdf 2019 CONSOLE (4).pdf
  4. It is GM's fix for the water leak on the sliding window, they do not specifically tie the leak and glass issues together. As I mentioned my theory is pure speculation, in my opinion the leak could very well be getting on something electrical creating a short or power surge through the defroster that causes the glass to shatter. I am by no means an expert on the subject and will gladly admit that I was wrong if it proves I am, I just feel like it makes sense that the water leak and my electrical short being in the same exact area and not just a coincidence.
  5. I looked all over for a TSB relating to the rear glass shattering, found nothing. As a GM parts sales guy I could not find anything from GM saying "This is why" or "How to fix", the only thing relating to the sliding rear glass I found was about the water leak in which customers were complaining about a slightly damp floor under the rear seat.
  6. GM has nothing to address the broken glass, my assumption is pure speculation but I do not feel it is unreasonable. Water leak in the same exact area that I saw the smoke, a electrical short that caused my truck to blow a fuse every time the defrost was turned on, to me it just makes sense.
  7. Complaint filed. Curious on how you think GM should remedy this concern? It seems obvious to me that this is ultimately caused by the water leak outlined in the service bulletin, would others agree that they should make that bulletin a special policy to extend warranty coverage for those who experience the same problem or just make their water leak fix a recall?
  8. Now if I could only get GM to compensate me for all the stickers I am going to loose! lol My lease is up in September anyways!
  9. Luckily I am just under my 36k warranty, it was some kind of short and where it is requires the rear glass to be replaced. This is the bulletin about the water leak, I never noticed a water leak but it is the same area I had the smoke. https://gm.oemdtc.com/8793/water-leak-under-back-glass-from-power-sliding-window-2014-2016-chevrolet-silverado-gmc-sierra
  10. I will pass along what information I can, he is checking grounds right now. I did see a document regarding a water leak in that area, not sure if that has anything to do with it.
  11. Thanks to this thread I was able to shut my rear defroster off before the window shattered! My son heard a hissing noise and when I looked back saw the smoke just to the drivers side of the power sliding glass, turned off the defrost and it stopped. Since I work at a dealer it is in the shop now, my service department said they've seen a few blown out windows but apparently non of those customers described the same hissing and smoke I experienced. Waiting to see what they find, as of now it sounds like it was a short of some kind that keeps blowing the fuse.
  12. I think N2Q is a strange RPO, my GM parts catalog says that is for a owners manual in Slovak language!
  13. PM me your VIN (at least the last 8), I can get you a build sheet.
  14. I will admit my mistake, I hadn't quoted one in a few weeks so it was my mistake adding the lid when it was not needed. That is why his quote was higher.....my bad!
  15. Part number 84496335 has now been replaced by 84537373.
  16. I've been back and forth on it and an M&P 2.0c, finally got to hold one last week...bit smaller than I expected but I liked it. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
  17. My current choice is a SR40c, looking to pick up a P365 soon as an alternative/backup.
  18. Hi everyone! Brian with GMPartsNow here and my main responsibility is processing placed orders. It was brought to our attention we have been referenced here which explains the increase in questions and orders for center console items! I just wanted to join the conversation and try to help make this swap more streamlined prior to ordering to avoid any potential availability issues. Our GM parts catalog we use references RPO codes which most of you are aware of, the problem I face while processing orders is that there are dozens of part numbers for consoles and it is near impossible for us to verify correct parts needed by simply requesting such options as wireless charging. As I read through some posts someone mentioned getting a VIN for a truck with the console you want, this is by far the best way for us to get you what you want and emails prior to placing orders is highly recommended to avoid order cancellation issues due to back orders (this is best for any modification when you are changing from what was originally in the vehicle). We try to keep the site updated with availability but many times we do not find out about back orders until someone orders the part, then we have to make contact and change availability on the website. I set up a personal account since I drive a 2016 Silverado myself. I will try to be as active as I can on here but assistance is best directed to [email protected]; Rusty, Jim, Corbin, and I are always happy to help! Lately we have been much busier than normal so our response rate has lengthened but we do our best to respond to emails within 1-2 business days depending on the number of open requests.
