  1. '19 Sierra SLT. The center console squeaks pretty much over every little bump which gets pretty friggin annoying. Seems to come mostly from the rear of the console. I can make it squeak when I grab the rear cup holder area and wiggle it. Anyone else have this issue? I haven't looked at it very closely yet since it's the middle of winter but I'm guessing it's just a matter of taking it apart and either tightening it or lubing it. Any suggestions?
  2. Back to the original topic, I too just refinanced early without paying a single payment as I've done 3 times previously. In fact, GM Financial just sent me a check for $42 after the refinance was complete. I'm assuming it was the difference in the 10-day payoff check sent and the actual balance owed. Lowered the rate by almost 5%.
  3. It’s the 289QB. So far so good. I can’t comment on the 5.3 towing but the Sunset Trail lineup is pretty light considering the size.
  4. First time towing with the new rig. 600 miles round trip to Niagara Falls, ON for Memorial Day weekend. The 6.2 had plenty of juice and I'm quite pleased overall. Coming from a 2500 Duramax I was concerned. The camper is about 7000 lbs and 33'. We used a Husky Centerline TS weight distribution hitch. We averaged 10.5 mpg on the way there with 93 octane gas. The highest octane I could find in Ontario was 91 so that's what we used on the way home and we averaged about 10.0 mpg. Those were the computer numbers but they were higher than I expected. I didn't hand calculate though I may next time just to make sure they're accurate. All things considered, we're very happy with the downsize.
  5. Classic! Thanks for the laugh. That method has always worked for me as well. Guess I'll stick with it.
  6. Really? No one? Just winging it?
  7. How do you like the Grabbers? Smooth and quiet on the highway? Any noticeable loss of power with the heavier tires? Sweet looking ride!
  8. Nice rig! Any lift/level done? What size are the tires?
  9. For those of you leveling your trucks yourselves, what are you using for torque specs when reassembling everything? I'm doing front and rear.
  10. Another thing to think about if their 1” rear lift block is really lifting the rear by 2” is your shock travel. You’re going to bottom out your shock and will likely have a rough ride if you don’t replace the shock with a longer travel shock.
  11. I don’t. I ordered their block that says it lifts the rear a true 1” but I don’t know if they’re assuming there is a factory rear block that is removed to make that happen. I saw your pics and I like it so I’ll stick with theirs. I received the kit but haven’t had it installed yet. I tow a lot so I don’t mind the rake as much. I just don’t want too much.
  12. How do you like the ATx? Good on the highway?
  13. I just ordered the FabTech 2" front and the 1" rear block. May want to take a look at those. I went with the top mount spacer.
  14. Nice TT! Is that 35'? I agree about driving a 2500 daily. I have a 33' TT and just traded in a 2500 Duramax. Loved how it towed the camper but didn't care to drive it on the rough MI roads everyday. Hoping the new 6.2L Sierra will tow it half as well as the HD did.
  15. Alright! Let’s see those T1s doing some work. Post pics towing your trailer, camper, car hauler, BBQ smoker, or your buddy’s Ram.
  16. 2019 Sierra SLT 4WD CC short box - 6.2L - SLT Premium Plus Pkg - Sunroof - Max Trailering Pkg - Trailer Camera Pkg - All-Terrain Tires - All-Weather Floor Liners $63,310.00 sticker $49,734.82 plus tax, title, and doc fees
  17. Nice looking ride! I’m going to add the same leveling kit. Any degradation in ride quality? I noticed that the Rough County website says that you need a 1/4” spacer to keep the stock wheels. Did you do that? I can’t imagine why you’d need a spacer with the stock wheel.
  18. Picked her up yesterday. Coming from a 2018 Silverado 2500 Duramax Z-71 Midnight Edition.
  19. My dealership just got back to me and said $2300 out the door. $1300 for the kit, $650 for install, and another $350 for alignment/steering calibration and taxes. Does that seem a bit high?
  20. I’m in Saline, just south of Ann Arbor. How much for the kit + install?
  21. I'm interested in this. I'm supposed to pick up my new Sierra 1500 CC short box this weekend and am trying to get my dealer to install it. They seem a bit clueless about it. Any reviews on it? If it's the same as the Trail Boss/AT4 suspension lift, how do they ride? I'm usually not a fan of Rancho shocks.
  22. Beautiful truck! I love the new Sierra in white. Unfortunately I couldn't find one within 200 miles of me with black interior so I went with black. Picking her up this weekend.
  23. I have LT295/70R18 on my ride now. They're a 34.29"x11.77" tire and I don't have any rubbing.
  24. Sweet ride! I have the same truck without the bars. I'm considering the same size Duratracs. Still no rubbing? Even at full crank? How's the ride?
