  1. This is not the news I was hoping for, seems like a ton of work for something that would be considered normal maintenance? I will take a look but I was pretty sure I could see the allen head for the plug but there certainly isn't much room above it.
  2. I want to change the filter, can it be done without pulling the intake? Tips / Tricks / Links appreciated I didn't find much when I used the "Google "
  3. Well, not today technically but over the past week and a half Upper control arms Lower Ball Joints Inner / Outer Tie Rod Ends Both front wheel bearings Billet torque converter and trans tune as prevention rather than repair
  4. @pgamboa He is the man and can probably help you out
  5. Thanks, those are intriguing, just for the lugnuts alone!
  6. Update, being that most aftermarket UCA's are meant for 2.5"+ of lift / level I went ahead and ordered the MOOG premium UCA's, my stockers lasted 92k so.... While working on the front end I went ahead and got lower BG's, inner / outer tie rods for them to install. I have the wheel bearings as well and with 92k and the front end already apart am debating having those installed as well. By the time I am done I will have a mostly new front end given my Fox2.0 struts only have a few thousand miles on them. Back to the spacers topic, how thick can you go and still use the factory studs? I think that MikeBMW stated he did 1/2". What have others done?
  7. WOW, I spent the whole weekend off and on trying to figure this out and didn't seem to gain any ground. I want to keep my stock 20's with the 275-60's but can't figure out for the life of me what UCA's actually work with that setup except for the stock stamped ones that lasted 91k. I would rather not run spacers if I don't have to but will if needed, I do not want the tires sticking out past the fenders. I was hoping someone had the same set up as I do and could give me real world experience / advice.
  8. On the motofab sight it says I may need 1/4 spacers to run my stock 20s, is that for rim rub or tire rub? I am running 275/60/20
  9. I did a search and really didn't see anything that answered my question directly. 2018 with 2.0 Fox Coilovers and 92k miles, I also have 20" wheels with 33's Ball joints are starting to pop and I am curious what the recommended UCA would be from the group. Never offroad so I don't need anything crazy. Replaceable ball joints are not a must but I would like something a little more robust that stock. Do also need to do the lower arms or are those ball joints replaceable? Also, even with the Fox 2.0's truck is not quite level because I have bags in the back. Anyone know the proper method for adjusting the Fox's for a little more height? Thanks in advance
  10. Wowza, they must be pretty proud of those. I don't doubt they have a solution but for less than ten trips a year in the truck, I will take my chances on something else. Thank you for the link idea though.
  11. May seem like a silly question but how does everyone get their larger dogs in and out of a double cab. The door opening is small so ramps / steps don't fit very well. We have a mastiff so jumping in / out and lifting her in / out is not an option. Any thoughts / examples? Thanks
  12. Not today but... Add the Fas-Top Traveler package to my truck and I like it, I haven't had a need to deploy the cover other than the shakedown run after installation but I have it if needed. I also added a couple of small molle panels to the utility rail that the Fas-Top is mounted to. This was a back seat split panel that I mod'd to use in the bed, thank you prime days
  13. That's the stuff and that is my plan, every 10k or right before every other oil change. I was just curious how many people do it that often.
  14. I did the CRC this weekend for the first time and am kicking myself for not doing it before. My truck does have the Air Raid Jr so getting to the throttle body was as simple as loosening up on hose clamp. Given how simple this is how often are people doing it? I was thinking every 2nd oil change?
  15. No one has had to do this or has any insight? Google wasn't much help either
  16. I have a set of 2.0 coilovers that appear to have started leaking. I can't really be without my truck for weeks while I send them to Fox for repair, assuming they will even take them. Does anyone have any experience with sending them to Fox for rebuild? Anyone know of a place near 49040 that can rebuild them for me or have any advice on how to proceed. I suppose if push came to shove I could put the crappy ranchos back on while they are getting rebuilt but that just seems like throwing money away as I would (or should) need an alignment with the ranchos and then again when I put the Fox back on. Thanks in advance
  17. Just got new tires and noticed this a few days later, sure looks like this is from tire installation to me. What is my recourse here? Any way to repair it? Anyone got a 20" Redline wheel laying around (lol)
  18. no one needs some cheap parts? make me an offer I can't refuse
  19. yep, all of the above Mug, hat, cards, stickers, coasters, tape measure. we use the coasters all the time
  20. new year bump
  21. I did some searching and either I stink at it or my question has not been answered. I recently put the full center console in my jump seat truck. I have now come across the a bose sub that was essentially free to me. I do not have the bose amp (where is that located?) Is there a way to get it to work with the non-bose head unit? I am not opposed to getting a small amp to power the sub and even replacing the speaker in it if necessary to get the ohms to line up. I do not want the one under the back seat as I have use my under seat storage container so this fits my needs for use of space. Any help is appreciated
  22. Why the gasket on the new one and none with the old? Does anyone know? I have mine flipped but am also following this subject.
  23. Black Cloth Jump Seat with locking lower. $100 obo, local pick up preferred or could meet if distance was right (or there was a brewery near by ) Ashtray with inverter-$25+shipping (sorry forgot to take a pic) Rear Panel from Center console with 12V--$15+shipping
