So I have the 6112 kit on my 18 sierra 1500 now and method nv wheels sitting 0 offset 17x8.5 I'm kinda at a toss up for tire size. I'd really like to run 285/70r17 in either a toyo AT2 or Goodyear duratrac. Anyone running this combo in conjunction with the 5100 or 6112 set at its highest? Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
On road it's honestly on par if not slightly firmer than the z71 ranchos. Way less body roll than stock. Offroad it soaks up everything alot better than stock going down washboard or rutted out roads around here before it would toss you around quite abit same roads with this setup very controlled and feels it has alot more stability. Braking in the vehicle doesn't feel like it wants to fight you like it did before to me anyways. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Just had the 6112 kit put on my 18 6.2 slt and wow it rides so much better compared to the z71 ranches that were there. Also put 5100s in the rear. Front set at the highest setting. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Ya after doing some research I see most people suggest if your gonna launch do it in 4 hi. Only did 2-3 mild launches in auto so I dont think it wore on things to bad hopefully Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
Hey all kinda still new to these trucks. Was playing around the other day and just did afew light launches while the truck was in auto 4wd. Only honestly tried it cause I seen the armageddon turbo video where the guy said gm did such a good job with the system that it launches like a gtr. Is there a relatively high chance of something getting damaged launching it in auto 4wd? Or is that totally fine. Sent from my SM-G965W using Tapatalk
