Yes, you get two options. You can raise the idle at PARK and when you're in DRIVE. I raised 50RPM's in PARK and 100RPM's in DRIVE. The vibration is almost nonexistent when sitting at a stop light but I still get vibration on the highway.
I use a Superchips Flashpaq. Not for performance tuning but to disable the AFM and change tire size.
I raised the RPM's by 100 and it seems to do better.
Thanks! I just went to a transmission shop and they think it's engine related. So I'll start with the idle adjustment and install new engine mounts this weekend.
After searching online for hours, I've come to the conclusion that my transmission is the culprit of my vibration issue. I get vibration during idle and at highway speeds. I noticed sitting at a stop light, if I throw it in Neutral the vibration goes away but as soon as it goes back into Drive it vibrates like a massage chair...
Has anyone else experienced this?
I just purchased my first truck. 2014 Silverado LTZ Z71 with 115K. Yeah I know, I'm crazy for purchasing a high mileage truck but It's what I wanted for the price.
After a month of owning this truck I've noticed a few things wrong with the truck. The driver side heated seat and heated mirror does not work. The transmission shifts a little different (harder I suppose) than my parents 2015 2WD Silverado. And the suspension feels like crap but probably due to the mileage and the leveling kit that was installed by the previous owner.
I look forward to learning new things about this truck and hope to keep it for a while.
At this mileage, I guess its time to change all the fluids and plugs but is it too late to due a fluid and filter change on the transmission? I'm not sure if it was ever done since nothing was on the Carfax report.
