    Awesome; thanks! Part comes back as a "hinge-load." Maybe not the right part? Where did you find that part number? "Hinge" may not be right. "Load" well, yes it supports a load, so maybe its right? No accompanying photos across any websites I've checked, so not sure if I'll take a chance on it just yet.     No, don’t need that. Online GM parts websites don’t show it. Some sites show the storage accessory as a whole, but doesn’t list the strut as a separate purchase item/part number.

    Anyone have a part number for the strut that holds up the rear storage bin’s lid, which is also the cargo area floor?

    Agree. Sounds like a grounding issue. I’d be checking all the grounding points, starting with ensuring the battery lugs are tight. Also check to ensure all the wiring harness plugs are snug. Being so intermittent, sounds like a connection somewhere is constantly breaking contact. Sounds like the tail light problems are a separate issue.

    You can just trust your shop and replace your rear wheel bearings. But if it were me, I’d try a wheel balance first. By someone who does the Hunter Roadforce balancing. If you have a lot of life left on your tires, Firestone will normally do a lifetime balance for around $60, I think. As your tires wear they tend to benefit from a rebalancing.
