  4. This is the best way to do it. Above 2.5-2.75"ish of lift upper control arms are required to get a good alignment. If you CV angles look a bit stressed, we offer a differential drop kit which can bring them back down to spec
  5. No idea on the 1/4, the 1/2 is our standard spacer. Check out DNA Motoring for the lift spacers, we have used theirs several times - http://www.ebaystores.com/dnamotoring
  6. We do for $120 with new KYB mounts. Not a noticeable difference, youll retain a bit more shock travel using the lower spacer only vs the complete spacer kit.
  7. You can do a 1/2" spacer (Use the under the shock spacer), the reason we dont suggest more is that the alignment adjustment is limited above 2" without aftermarket control arms.
  8. We suggest using the factory nut as well! Please PM us your phone number or order number and we will reach out to you. These are not for the magneride, but you can fit them with purchasing the factory upper mounts for the non-magneride suspension.
  9. Pretty much. The GM 5160 is 26.81" extended vs 25.79" for the 5100. Should be good for up to 2" of rear lift. They also have a lower operating pressure.
  10. There is no 6112 rear planned, we suggest pairing these with the 5160 rear shocks.
  11. You are right on the limit there and might be alright without them, although you will have a better alignment with them. Above 2.5" of lift UCAs are a must. We do have some inexpensive options around $320
  12. Yes it rides much better, just doesnt give us the lift we'd like.
  13. No. The springs are linear, so all the height setting does is change the spring length and vehicle height while adding a bit of pre-load to the spring. Youll notice its slightly firmer on the top setting compared to the bottom, but this does not mean its a harsh ride by any means, and comfort wise is a massive improvement over stock.
  14. What setting are you planning on? All the way up??
  15. That truck looks awesome! Thanks for your input
  16. The top setting. The leveling kit will limit travel. If you need a bit more height over what the 5100s offer, use the 5100s on the top setting in conjunction with a spacer that mounts under the shock, not ontop. Bilstein designed these shocks to lift the vehicle and expect most people to use the upper lift settings when installing the shock, so the optimal range is real dialed in on the upper end. Personally I think they ride best on the top setting on the 14-18 1500s, the bottom setting seems too floaty.

  20. Does it replace the stock block, or does it stack on top?
  21. Youll be fine as is. Bilstein offers Part Number: 24-186636 -For Rear Lifted Height: 3-4" Yes, it does. Here is a link to Bilsteins install instructions showing the assembly of the front shock - Installation Instructions Yes, they are considered stock replacement shocks and will work fine with the strut spacer in lift kits.
  22. Yep! We also have 5125s (Not application specific version of 5100) rear shocks that will give you the full travel.
  23. If you are using the standard 0-1" 5100 for the 1500s and that block, you are limiting your travel by a bit. It will work, just realize the shock is being stressed at full droop pretty hard.
  24. Throw 5 mins of driving around in figure 8s in there.
