  1. Add me to the list of bird chirp. '21 TB 6.2L. i first noticed it at about 1700 miles on it. id say it happens on 90% of startups from sitting (not auto S/S). I will say that it is coming from the drivers side, under side is more pronounced than above the motor. Someone previously mentioned possible problems as the DFM cylinder shutdown, has anyone tried using the Pulsar LT DFM delete to fix it? I have one on the way so I will report back if that resolves the issue. i have an appointment to take it to the dealer, lets see what they say! im also trying to understand what a "squeaky exhaust valve" is? i dont see how its possible to have that little oil in the valve train to cause a squeak/squeal and if so we would have a lot more bent valves and rods than the 1 listed above! as for this being "normal" I would disagree. It didn't squeal at the dealership when I drove it so i would say that this is not "normal"
  2. Awesome. Thanks I appreciate it
  3. All good. Have you run into any of the issues with 4WD like the others running the 2" lifts? I figured at 1 3/8" it shouldn't have the issues like the 2"
  4. Thanks for the info. I assume the kit doesn't come with nylon lock nuts? I will probably go with this for now and upgrade shocks later.
  5. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Zone kit? https://zoneoffroad.com/products/175-in-leveling-kit-2019-2021-chevy-silverado-trail-boss-gmc-sierra-at4?variant=39294395023448 comes with UCA and lift spacers for 1 3/8 or 1 3/4 inch lift over TB. Any good or bad to this. Seems less extreme than the Ready lift SST. Seems less likely to have issues with the CVs
  6. Looks like the zerk is on top.
  7. Good to know. I never thought about that
  8. Gotcha! It's all starting to come together! No issues with the CVs at 3.2"? Any disclaimers to not use 4wd auto? Thanks for all the info guys. I'm pretty sure I've made up my mind to get the Bilstein kit with camburg UCAs,
  9. Cool, I was a bit worried about that snap ring. Your rig looks great it's exactly what I'm going for with the ability to get 35s on it. Im not big on cutting or welding a lift kit onto a truck with 600 miles on it! Thanks man I appreciate all the info!
  10. Question for lapoolboy and lt1z, The front adjustable bilsteins look like there is a snap ring that holds the lower spring perch in place and the 4 groves in the shock are the height adjustment, have you had any issues (or heard of any) where that snap ring failed? It seems like a lot of pressure on a little ring Also what are the height settings (3/4” per ring? Ish) I'm assuming (running the trail boss) I will get to use position 3 (probably stock height) and position 4 (1.2"lift)? I know they make a great product, I've run bilsteins on 2 other rigs and loved them but never had adjustable heights. I'm thinking about the going with the camburg kit Thanks
  11. Ouch... That's a steep price tag! Thanks for the info
  12. I'm sure it's been discussed but I can't find it. Are there any companies actually working on tuning for the 19-21 Silverado? I know about the Pulsar LT and the Range but those are not engine and transmission tuning. Just wondered if anyone was working on it and retaining the features of the Pulsar. Thanks
  13. Ok gents.. here is what I've found.. Camburg took the bilstein kit to the next level with control arms. 1800 and I get what I want without a built-in grenade! https://camburg.com/shop/suspension/performance-suspension/camburg-chevy-1500-19-bilstein-6112-performance-kit/
  14. No need to leave it! Where did you buy it? Model number? I am more into coilover setup over lift pucks.
  15. Will do.. just looks like my research is going to get a bit deeper. I'm not a fan of the full 4"over stock (I don't want a 6"lift) I really wanted a front level and to get 35's on it, but if a level means I am strapping a grenade to the diff/axles then I guess that's out... Back to the drawing board! Maybe I just find a smaller lift block for the rear!
  16. Thanks for the detailed write up. I'm not trying to start a holy war over a lift! I just don't want to fry my band new rig because of 4wd auto! I'm not trying to be a cheap ass I was honestly looking at Icon stage 2 kit when I came across the readylift and noticed all the issues with the height. What I gather is that no matter what kit is used if you get to 4" without drop brackets you are going to kill your diff or axles.
  17. Thanks for the info.. that's what I've been looking for.
  18. I've been searching around and I can't find the answer I'm looking for. I'm looking at the Readylift SST lift for the Trail Boss and their recommendation is to Not use 4wd in auto mode, somehow it can damage the 4wd. What's the problem with using Auto mode? Why would auto be different than 4H or 4L with this lift? Is this a problem with the truck at 4"of lift no matter the lift manufacturer? I use auto mode for about 2 to 3 months a year where I live vs just driving around in 4H all the time so I guess this will affect my decision making with lift kits. My other option is going full suspension swap from Icon. Thanks all
