It’s a 10mm with 3 bolts per exhaust tip. My suggestion would be a ratcheting wrench with adjustable angle neck due to the tight space you have to work with on the two in the back of the housing inside the bumper. The third bolt above the back of the exhaust tip is easy to see and is best suited for a socket wrench w small extension.
Best of Luck!
I did have to reach back in on both sides but now they are aligned and square. Appreciate the help! My “cat fighting” days are over (scratches down both arms and hands). Won’t be doing that again anytime soon ;)
I plan on doing it tomorrow Tina - Just hoping to get confirmation on sizing before I buy another wrench. Most of my tools are in boxes still since I’m moving into my new crib this week.
So you suggest using the 1/4” 12 point ratcheting wrench for the top bolts on the exhaust tips? Once confirmed I’ll take them off and have them PC’d as well. Would look so much better on my white TB!!
I just installed the Sealight LED’s for low and high beam as well. I think they look amazing and were easy enough to install. I am yet to drive at night to see how the beam pattern is but can assure you they are way better than the halogen bulbs. My concern is how the bulbs are facing within the housing. I am assuming they can me rotated in 3 different “final positions” due to the quarter turn locking mechanics and am wondering what way they should face within the housing for optimum results with a clean line to avoid possible flashing.....
