Not sure about the 3500, but the amp in my 1500 is behind the rear seat. I used a LOC from A.I.S.-Audio Integration Solutions and a sub thump box with integrated amp. install was simple and easy. Hardest part was taking the back seat out when it's 100 degrees outside.
I turned the amp and LOC just about all the way up and have no distortion at all but I haven't really played with all the settings on the amp yet. Works real well right out the box the way it is.
I'm extremely happy with how it turned out considering I got a little over 400 in the whole setup
Yep, I turned my head unit down to 0 and the remote knob is in the middle, I think that's a good starting point depending on the music. My sub is 2 ohms as well
I installed it last weekend and it makes a HUGE difference. It fits under the seat fine. the only thing i should've done is gotten the wires a little longer on the harness. i got everything to fit just would've made it a little easier.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'm sure myself and others would be glad to help.
I got the same subthump box and an Infinity Reference Series 10". Just waiting on the harness from John Adams, great customer service by the way. My question is where is the Bose amp located? I have a 19 RST w/Bose and center console.
