I have a 2017 GMC Serria 8 speed trans same problem its at the dealership right now. I know another person has the same issue and have come across pages of people complaining of the same problem from 2016 on with the shuttering along with going from 1st to 2nd and back down jerking the truck or banging into gears. My trans pump has now started to whine and the fluid looks dark. It caught me as I was getting up on the highway it wouldn't shift out of 2nd gear just made it to the dealership turn the truck off restart it went into normal gears. Its a known issue with these GM trans of what you described.

Outside Temperture Will Not Update Or Inaccurate

I have a appointment again with the Dealer on Monday morning for this same problem again. I took photos of the radio screen I drove for almost a hour before it finally updated then it sat at that temp the entire day. I understand it should show the correct temp when starting up if the truck sits more then 8 hours and will not adjust to the proper Temps untill it's driving 20 minutes over 20 miles a hour. After the initial drive above it should adjust after 5 minutes of driving continuously over 20 miles per hour but my temp just sits on the night before temps and may move a degree then quits for over a hour before it will move. -

CamGPT I had it at the dealer last week for a oil change and tire rotation the Tech started to look at the connections but couldn't find the problem as it started to work again a day later it's back to not operating or operating intermittently. -
Question Is there a thread on here regarding the Outside Ambient Temperature Display not working or stuck on one Temp or its reading inaccurate on the radio / display, my situation is the display is showing 7-10 degrees less then the Actual Outside Temperature or its Stuck all day on lets say 60 degrees when its actually 70 degrees outside no matter if I am driving long high speed distances or slow down and then regain speeds over 40 miles per hour for longer distances. Also is there a way on the heater controls to reset the Ambient Temp Sensor?

I've given the latter of using the aftermarket USB unit a thought from the get go i even thought of using the aftermarket port on a hollowed out dual GM-USB port with the factory snap cover. When I install my back heated seat pads shortly I'm going to dig into it and will post back here.

I'm looking to add a dual USB port to the back of my 2017 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71 Crew Cab I have the full console see attached photos of front, 4 ports, 1 dual USB, 2 cigar ports, 1-12 volt plug. Inside the consol I have one cigar port, 1 dual USB port. Back of the consol is one cigar port.
