  1. My truck arrived with the switch mounted and no wires connected from the assembly line.
  2. Whatever you choose to spray on and into the latches, I recommend warming the spray can and it’s contents in a bucket of hot water to increase the spray pressure and aid in displacing any moisture. Ohio winters are not for whimps!! ?
  3. Just saw the truck I ordered , the Upfitter switch is factory installed. Truck came in this afternoon and dealer parked it as is.
  4. Dealer called this afternoon and claims that I am responsible for the installation of the Upfitter switches. Guess we have a conflicting senario from dealers about the UF switches. Do any of them truly understand trucks? Not at all
  5. Looks like it is labor intensive to install, good to see you were able to do it on your own and not have pay for a install
  6. Looks like it is nice and straight, factory install I would guess if I did not know you installed it. Great work !!?? Why are there blue and white wires hanging loose under the panel?
  7. The entire engine has been beefed up for 2020, the crankshaft rod journals are larger, the cyl heads have extra bolts, the connecting rods are stronger, piston pins larger, lifters are lighter, push rods improved, cylinder block has ribs for strength and improved metallurgy. The deck height of the block is taller. Pistons have been made stronger and are taller. It is not the same engine for the most part. Nothing is that simple anymore when your advertising a 35,000 lb. plus pull load !!! ?
  8. It may come in sooner than you think
  9. I also opted for the Upfitter switches in my 2500 build, waiting for the truck to be delivered to the dealership. Dealer claims the UF switch has to be installed by me. No big deal, but it should have been factory installed.
  10. Never stops amazing me what dealers try to pass off as normal. Usually there are one or two Techs on top of these issues. Those are the ones you want working on your truck.
  11. Sounds like a loose harmonic balancer. Have you checked oil pressure with a mechanical gauge? If it’s a bad or loose crankshaft bearing then oil pressure will be lower than normal. Just thoughts of what could be. Hope it’s nothing major.
