  1. Hi my 2019 5.3 8 speed 8-19 build has the latest fluid from factory and does the 1-2 slip bang after idling for about 10 mins or so it even does this when I'm sitting in a drive through for 10 minutes or so, trans at normal operating temp what software update did you get? It's driving me crazy gm is hiding behind the learning thing I am a tech for other brands and all trans leArn this is for wear not for poor quality mfg, they think they can slap it together without precise measurements on the clutches and expect it to compensate, my feeling is there is a Pressure problem or leak in the clutch circuit, mine even slip bangs 3-4 in the morning but if I put into reverse before I pull out of my driveway ( I back into my driveway) it shifts great reverse apply's one of the 3-4. Clutches this tells me that the clutch is leaking fluid, unfortunately the trans are built at the Toledo plat where there has been huge issues I'm sure it's just disgruntled employees purposely building it wrong to screw gm, and gm knows this they just dont care.....
  2. Hi so it doesn't appear to lift or lower the bed, in my case I need to Lift the body on left rear, I was going to get a cab mount bolt washer and shim between mount and body, my bed is off to the right not sure if sliding it to the left will lower it doesn't appear to, I was going to adjust the bed after I lifted the body just haven't done that yet, I agree the price point of these vehicles. Bring it in line with high quality German luxury cars with high level of engineering and manufacturing.
  3. You could try this, gm only pays 24 minutes to fix so a $20.00 an hour tech gets like $9 subtract taxes = like $6 to fix so you should probably do it yourself if you want it right. MC-10169342-9999.pdf
  4. Hi my $56,000 2019 rst 5.3 8 speed 8-19 build date is just like you say my drivers side is higher, the issue here is the cab needs to be lifted there is only a left right forward back adjustment on the bed, my buddy's 2020 Sierra is also the same way, I also thought my truck was dropped off the train or someone launched it but it's just very poor quality control at gm, i don't want to make you sad about your truck but I am so disappointed in my truck, my transmission is Awful, my rear window leaks water, and apparently this is all normal and can't be fixed, gm really does not care they would do anything to save 27cents, one positive note is I've managed to go 5400 miles without having it towed....
  5. My rst z71 does this too I would describe it . more like a surging feeling, seems to be the engine is programmed to go lean/rich under accell when cold causing a back and forth sensation, probably to limit emissions during warm up? Just throwing it out there?
