  1. Got mine ok installed today. Temporarily wired to the backup lights on the trailer hitch. I'm waiting for GMPartsDirect to ship me my bedlight so they will be on a switch. Anyways, super easy install. Used self tapping screws.
  2. I've read through it a couple times. Dont I need the bedlight kit wires to get power from the cargo lamp switch? And are you saying that since the lights only draw .85amp I dont need a fuse and relay?
  3. I know this thread is a little old. I finally recieved my Ignite lights yesterday. I want them controlled via the cargo switch from the Cab. And was wondering if this was an option. Using a relay: Post 87: connect positive from lights Post 85: ground Post 30: tap into running lights from tail light, fused (12v constant) Post 86: grab power from the positive wire out of the bed light kit. That would act as the "switch"
