  1. You went from non power fold to power fold? And didnt have to mess with the wiring? Are they also power extend?
  2. Does your tonneau have a rail that it sits on? My Leer has a rails that runs the entire length of the bed. I tested a 3/16th piece of aluminum that I had and it would fit under the rails (just need to add waterproofing afterwards) but I don’t see how the brackets attach to the bed side. Do you use the holes at the stake pocket?
  3. I am currently looking at a way to mount a roof rack to the bed rails of the truck. I have a Leer folding tonneau so the plan is to have quick disconnect feet on the rack but the tracks would be permanent. I’m looking at Yakima, Thule or Rhino for the ease and connivence of them. Has anyone drilled the bed rails to attach something like that to their truck? Are you able to access/how would you access the underside above the wheel wells? I looked today and it appears that you don’t have direct access. Looking at Yakima’s website they install their racks in metal roofs using plusnuts. Are there long enough plusnuts that would fit with the plastic and sheet metal on the bed rails?
  4. I found those bars when I was searching for a possible bike rack. I have a Leer hard folding tonneau and love the idea that the bars are easily removed. What other product did you find? How are they mounted to the bed?
  5. Got mine ok installed today. Temporarily wired to the backup lights on the trailer hitch. I'm waiting for GMPartsDirect to ship me my bedlight so they will be on a switch. Anyways, super easy install. Used self tapping screws.
  6. I've read through it a couple times. Dont I need the bedlight kit wires to get power from the cargo lamp switch? And are you saying that since the lights only draw .85amp I dont need a fuse and relay?
  7. I know this thread is a little old. I finally recieved my Ignite lights yesterday. I want them controlled via the cargo switch from the Cab. And was wondering if this was an option. Using a relay: Post 87: connect positive from lights Post 85: ground Post 30: tap into running lights from tail light, fused (12v constant) Post 86: grab power from the positive wire out of the bed light kit. That would act as the "switch"
