Hi everyone I am new to the forum and this is my first post.I recently purchased a 2002 Silverado 2500 HD with 125,000 miles it needed some work but I thought I had it all taken care of .a couple of days ago it started making a noise which I can only describe as lifter noise .I’ve tried changing the oil I’ve tried an engine flush every mechanic shop I have taken it to has advised me to replace it with a used engine but I am hesitant to put in a used engine and potentially have the same problemDown the line. I am debating whether to rebuild the current engine or purchase a crate engine .it is my daily driver any and all input would be appreciated
