  1. OK. Looking up that part on GM Parts. Also looking at some service videos. Doesn't look too daunting to do in an afternoon. Might as well change the filter while I'm there. Probably best to have a seal on hand even though the OEM is reusable just in case it gets damaged. The fluid is crazy expensive. https://www.gmpartsonline.net/oem-parts/gm-valve-86774933 https://www.gmpartsonline.net/oem-parts/gm-automatic-transmission-fluid-filter-kit-with-seal-24236933 https://www.gmpartsonline.net/oem-parts/gm-automatic-transmission-fluid-pan-gasket-24260071?c=bT0x
  2. Well, mine made it about 45k. I don't recall having the TBV valve replaced, but I'm calling service department back tomorrow. Guy was very helpful when I called him last week with pulling up my service record and notes. Appreciate you updating the post.!
  3. Never when braking or coasting. Only under power.
  4. Hi all, I have the 2018 Silverado LTZ with the soft open tailgate hinge. Got some damage and weighing option of swapping the tailgate out vs repairing/painting it. It's Summit white so plenty of take offs out there. Can I find a regular hinge tailgate and change it or is it welded/pressed in? TIA
  5. I had the shake in my 18 Silverado at 45k miles. Chevy dealer replaced the fluid with Mobil One under warranty and shudder completely went away until about a month ago. Just over 90k and intermittent shudder at 40, 50, and 60 mph has returned. Doesn't seem as severe as before. Doesn't happen over 65 mph. Rotated tires with no difference. They are newer Michelins with about 15k on them. Wondering if fluid has separated again? Saw someone mention rotors. Mine still look great and pads are original. Most of my miles are highway. Any thoughts?
  6. Hey Garrett, we chatted about this on the youtube video about this topic a few days ago. I have a 2018 1500 with the 8 speed transmission. I was all ready to handle it myself, but found my truck has no dipstick and apparently its a complex series of temperature change requirements when refilling. Called the dealer and they told me if it panned out that it could be covered under the warranty. Lucky for me I was still under drive train warranty. Went to the dealer today and they did the flush out of the original fluid. So far on the 35 minute ride home the shudder is gone. They asked me to check in with them at 200 miles out and let them know how its going. Will bring an update here as well.
