  1. My 2020 Sierra Elevation 5.3 is making a ticking sound at idle, intermittently; took it to the dealer, they told me it sounds like my lifters, said they would need to be replaced......quoted $8-10k (Canadian) to replace them all. We're at 120,000 km Now, I've got quite a bit into wheels and tires/lifts/ect; hadn't planned on replacing it any time soon, but now I'm wondering if I should trade it in on something brand new and under warranty before it becomes an issue, or bite the bullet and get it fixed? Figures, this is the first vehicle I have kept more than 3 or 4 years, usually I flip them well before I'm out of warranty......kind of regretting not doing so here! Pisses me off to be wasting so much $, and makes me paranoid about what else I've got to fix after this
  2. 2020 Sierra Elevation. 4" BDS lift with Fox Racing Coilovers Black Rhino Raid 18" Wheels Falken Wildpeak A/T4W 295/70/18 ADD Front Bumper
  3. Has anyone done anything with your rear pocket stakes, other than capping them? I was looking for a tie-down option. Fabricated a front fork bike mount for hauling our mountain bikes on top of my tonneau when we go on vacation, but I am looking for a solution for a tiedown at the rear to secure the back end of the bikes. I've picked up a few basic ones at the local autoparts shop, but none of them fit; all I can find online are the Putco ones, and those are pricey....especially in the black. Love to see some ideas of what others have used.
  4. Got my new Addictive Dessert Design bumper installed, with a 40" light bar. 305/50/R20 on a 4" lift
  5. Well, I took my 3/5 drop on 24's and flipped it to a 4" lift on the stock 20x9 running 305x55x20's Loved my lowered ride, but it's not much good outside suburbia, and we're planning a move out of town; time to dress the part.
  6. Is that with the helper bags? How's it ride? I've got a 3/5 going in in a week or so; Belltech spindles and struts in the front, Maxtrac flip kit in the back......but I've been told that the ride would be really rough with that much drop in the back, without doing a notch; be good to hear from someone who's actually gone that low.
  7. Spindles in the front, shackles in the rear....you're right about the rake, I forgot about the extra 350+ lbs the set of stock wheels and tires were sitting in the back; it sits a little higher in the rear now that they're out.
  8. Just got my first full sized.......2020 Seirra Elevation, lowered 2" front and back, a bit more to go once the new 4" rear kits come out; running 24x10" Niche wheels with 305/35/24 Nitto 420V wheels. Elevation didn't come in leather, but I got the dealer to throw in custom leather as part of the deal, leather goes in on Thursday....leather plus heated seats in the back for my spoiled kids ?
