  1. Couldn't tell on my phone. I was going to be happy and sad if it was spiral gray. I haven't seen another on here. So if have a second of my color but then it also means I won't be the only one with it here Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  2. Is your truck black or Spiral Grey? Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  3. Did some work on the truck. Cleaned the MAF and TB, Installed the Volant ram air scoop, and dumped in some fuel injector cleaner. Taking everything off to clean the MAF and TB Easy access now Scoop bolted in place Found my missing oil cap between the right front fender liner and the frame rail Where the scoop meets the air box Putting it all back together Added some Techron to the tank
  4. I actually live in a hard core republican county. We control the state's oil and a lot of the agriculture. And California is more like a Polyarchy. What the democrats say is law. Can you plant some drugs on Diane Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi please. Then arrest them. It would make life here a lot easier
  5. It's a sunny 72 degrees here
  6. Bushmaster did a CF AR. I read on some forums about it. People didn't like the idea of a CF barrel. Mainly because of reliability. An owner of one chimed in. He liked it and said it was really light. Why is it labeled CA-15? Is it a Cali legal AR? Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  7. Nope I got an 04. Last year of the clutch fan. Its on the list of things to do Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  8. I got everything on Amazon. I am a Prime member so shipping is cheap as hell. The CAI with the Donaldson Powercore filter was $252.08 Sales tax was $18.91 2 day shipping FREE GMT-800 P/N 15153 for the kit with oiled filter 151536 for the kit with Donaldson filter The Scoop was $97.79 Sales tax was $8.00 and $8.99 for overnight shipping with Saturday delivery Scoop P/N 35853. This applies to 99-06 1500 Silverado/Sierra/Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban/Avalanche. SS P/N 35960 For those who want to put the SS bumper cover on Well with the Corsa Sport I did notice a power difference over the K&N 77 series intake. According to the butt dyno, the Volant feels like it has a little more low end power. My brother noticed this as well. it seems to pull harder at WOT. I got it because the CARB Exemption Executive Order number will cross reference to a Denali and SS which makes it legal for me having a 6.0 and it is a great looking system that will work with both a clutch fan and electric fans
  9. It can come from the brake duct on an SS because they dont have fog lights eventhough the interior is from an LT
  10. Where the right tow hook is. It actually uses the tow hook bolt to mount Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  11. Just get the prefilter also.
  12. Got my Ram Air Scoop for my intake today. I will pull it all off tomorrow and clean the TB and MAF tomorrow and install the scoop
  13. So got the oil cap on and decided to finally put my big alternator back on
  14. I wish that would fix the randomly occurring P0300. No telling how long it has been like that. Good thing I had a spare cap. That would have failed me on my emissions test tomorrow Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  15. Installed the Volant. Found out I was missing the oil cap when I looked at this pic. But I had a brand new AC Delco Dexos cap in my closet. Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  16. I have to install the new CAI tomorrow then an emissions test Friday. I'm praying it doesn't pop the damn P0300 code this time.
  17. Cant wait to see the results
  18. I am waiting for the Volant to show up at my door
  19. I have an emissions test on friday. Light=instant fail
  20. My truck popped a P0300 again. I thought the cats would fix it
  21. I ordered a Volant CAI with Donaldson Powercore filter today. Most the SS guys run them on these LQ9's and love them. I needed something other than the K&N to pass emissions testing Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  22. I am not sure most of my towing doesnt require one. It's mainly a horse trailer and a boat
  23. The travel trailer is usually towed with the dodge. It has a level and 3" block. The WD comes close to the ground but I don't remember if it hits. We only use it once a year. The drive way is V shape. I would like to say the angle using the gutter as the vertex is roughly 135*. That rear block helped the Dodge. With my truck having the 1.25" GMT-900 block, I scraped. But from hitch to axles. Is roughly 18-20ft. And my truck squatted bad with it. Here is the driveway angle and a pic of trailer length with it hooked to the Dodge 2500. It squats too. But it is a heavy trailer My opinion do the Firestone Ride Rite's and if it doesn't change it dramatically then go to a WD hitch. Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
  24. I've only used one when we towed that travel trailer. A combination of both would be nice Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
