  1. I'm selling a like new 5th wheel puck system. I used it just for a few trips and then sold the 5th wheeler. Here's my craigslist add https://orlando.craigslist.org/tro/d/winter-springs-complete-5th-wheel-hitch/7381611557.html
  2. Yep! I reached out to Ben and ordered a single pod this morning. Looking at all the pics, it seems like he does really nice work. How do you like the look of your dual gauge mount? is it solid?
  3. Hey guys, anyone installed a vent or pillar mount on their 2020 Silverado or Sierra HD? I've have a 2020 and I need a pod for a single Banks i-dash. I'd prefer the vent mount so that i can keep the pillar grab handle. I saw a video for a block8head dual pod install but don't see it offered for sale. Any info on where i can get a single mount would be greatly appreciated.
  4. Redwngr, I took my rear axle weight with the trailer (6000 lbs) and subtracted my rear axle weight without the trailer (3500 lbs) to get a pin weight of 2500 lbs. I like the fact that it's between the 15% and 25% recommended by GM, I appreciate you pointing that out. The test pull was a little over 100 miles from Winter Springs, FL to St. Augustine Florida (I-4 East and I-95 North). I should mention I have Firestone Ride Rite airbags on the truck, and had about 50 psi in them. The truck sits like it was unloaded with the trailer on it, and pulls like a honey badger. The haul east on I-4, I set cruise control at 65 and was getting on average 12 mpg. on I-95 i bumped it up to 70 and was getting between 9.5 and 10.5 mpg. Easing it back to 68 mph put the mileage back up to between 11 - 12 mpg. Honestly, it was a nice drive. The truck handled the weight great. I'm glad i went with the airbags, i think it made the ride smoother and more stable, but i haven't pulled without them.
  5. So i took my 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Denali Crew Cab SB to a CAT scale and weighed it with a full tank, Pull Rite Super Slide 5th Wheel hitch and i had me and the wife in the cab. I then went back to the scale when taking a short trip with the 5th wheeler (loaded). Here's my numbers. Looks like I am close to maxing out the truck. Just looking for some opinions...do you think this is too close to maxed out?
  6. It's on back order and i think GM may be going to change the part number again this will be at lease the third part number from what i understand. Maybe they are making some changes.
  7. Well, i ordered it 2020 Silverado 2500 Transparent Trailer Camera, Auxiliary Trailer Camera, Models with CWM, PDM, UVN (84876818). The price was lower as you stated and i got 5% off as new customer with NEW2020 code. Thanks again!
  8. Nice! Thanks Jay. I'll give them a call and see if i can get one ordered. Just curious, have you used the trailer camera and if so how long is the trailer? Did it perform as expected?
  9. Nice! I appreciate all the feedback! Nice looking trucks too. I just pulled the trigger on the BAK Revolver X4 Tonneau Cover and a set of front and back Husky Liners X-act Floor Mats @15% off with free shipping from Realtruck.com. The Tonneau Cover will be here Friday but the floor mats are on back order. I attach a pic when i get the X4 Tonneau cover on it. Not a big fan of having it rolled up on top but with the standard bed it's what i have to do. Thanks again for the input, much appreciated. Now I have to figure out what part number I need to add the Auxiliary Trailer Camera. I found GM Part Number 84876818 but doesn't seem to be compatible with the 2500, only the 1500.
  10. First time GMC. Recommendations for Tonneau Cover would be appreciated. If anyone has any real world experience with a lockable Tonneau Cover let me know. I'm going to have so equipment in the back periodically and I subscribe to the old adage "out of sight out of mind". So i want to get something that looks good and performs well. Also, in the past i've switched between Huskey and Weather Tech floor mats in difference vehicles because one had the perfect fit dialed in, and the other was just not quite there. Anyone have a recommendations? 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 Standard Bed.
