  1. It crossed my mind that it could have been a one time occurance as opposed to being persistent, but didn’t really think about that it could be something that happened for a split second and will never occur again, not sure if the codes were legacy codes but the light has been on for probably 5 start-stop cycles now. I’ll unhook the battery and see if it goes away and doesn’t come back.
  2. Hey there, I was just driving around last night in my 2016 Sierra with the 5.3L and 8 speed tranny (yes my transmission is clunky as per usual for the 8 speeds), my check engine light came on but the truck was still driving around like normal. The truck still remote started so I knew it couldn't be too bad. I went and got scanned this morning and got a U0100 code and a C0045-18. The first code is for lost communication with ECM and the second is for left and right wheel speed sensors, low signal amplitude. Nothing has changed in the way the truck is driving but the code is on and hasn't gone away. Just looking for any ideas anyone has on a simple fix or a possible common cause for this. Thanks
  3. Hey there, had my new 2016 Sierra Denali delivered to me a few weeks ago and when the delivery driver opened the side mirror up after hauling, he snapped the mirror glass away from the motor. I had to replace the motor in the mirror housing and now every time I start the truck, or turn off the truck the mirror glass just moves in every direction possible and it sounds like it’s just gonna burn up the brand new motor. The only way to stop it is to go inside the truck and take over the movement of the mirror, after I take control it stops moving on its own, until I come back to start the truck or I turn off my truck at my destination. The whole thing is really weird. Any tips or suggestions are welcomed, my biggest issue is after you install the mirror glass on the new motor there’s no way to access the motor without taking apart the whole mirror housing and door panel. thanks, rufus hardison
