  1. It gave me the exact sound I was after not loud but has some character. I personally don't mind the helicopter sound as it's not very loud or super noticable especially if you have heat,A/C and or Radio going. I don't have any drone when it's closed but you do gain some when you open the cutout up. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  2. I have upgrade mine with the flowmaster 717911 kit pretty easy to do *cut old muffler out slide this one in+ a little wiring* I personally love the sound it's not to loud when the cut outs closed but it will make that helicopter like sound on the DFM engines. 3. Subbed.. I'm curious as well Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  4. Just finished the install, the muffler side of things went super easy. Cut the old one out slide the new one on. The electric side of things was a bit of a bear.. it's all under the dash trying to pull the wires through, the connector you have to pull is bigger then the opening in the firewall so it takes some pulling but it does go through.. once it's all connected and zip tied up you won't see anything it cleans up nice. The side that runs out the factory tailpipe is a little more aggressive then stock but I personally don't feel it's much louder. The real fun comes from opening the dump side and then you really can hear it, not overly loud but definitely noticable. I can't speak for any drone quite yet as I just ran it around the block real quick. I will try to remember to update this if their is a drone or not in case anyone gets curious. 5. Kit looks to be pretty decent, nothing missing good instructions. It's raining something fierce today so it will be tomorrows project. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  6. Flowmaster makes a cutout system for at least the single exit.. I just received mine today. I like that you have 2 different options for sound. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  7. Not today but couple days ago.. Mkw off-road M203. 20*9 +1 stock 275/60r20 tires Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  8. I just received my flowmaster setup part # 717911. Has anyone here installed this or know someone that has? I will be doing the install myself either tomorrow night or Friday morning. If their is any interest in this kit I will post some before and after photos/videos and give my 02. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  9. You already have the wheels/tires.. I would go down to your local tire store and have them do a test fit of the front 2. Or do it yourself if you have everything. Run your steering lock to lock a few times make sure they clear the big honkin calipers, if that all checks out then order your replacement wheel/tire. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  10. I'm running a 20x9+1 on 275-60r20 no level kit with no problems. As long as it clears the caliper. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  11. I was told as long as they clear the caliper you are good. I'm running a 20x9 +1offset, 275\65r20 <stock tire. I have no issues and my wheels are pretty close to the caliper as yours are.
  12. I understand that the manufacturer has to be able to prove the failure was caused by whatever aftermarket part, Are some people just more willing to go through the the hoops more then others? I'm kinda with Goobax on this on I feel like I am missing out on some inside knowledge...This is my first brand new vehicle everything else was out of warranty by the time I got it and/or was a lot cheaper to repair/replace oopsies.
  13. I've seen some lift company's do that but there are still plenty of things people are doing to their trucks without insurance. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
  14. I know the conversations of lifts/lowers/mods have been beaten to death on many different forums, but this question is more geared towards the owner of the rig. I know why people do it..because it looks flipin awesome! but my question more lies with the warranty aspect I know I know.. Magnuson-Moss.. But that's not a get out of jail free card. So why did you personally decide to potentially forgo your warranty in the endeavor of truck epicness!?
