  1. I did this swap to a center console a couple years ago. But the USBs inside the center console do not work since I didn't get the new harness for the center console. I'm planning on doing it so the USBs inside of the center console provide powered and data to my radio. Has anyone done this part of the swap? There is what I believe I will need: https://www.gmpartsclub.com/oem-parts/gm-front-floor-console-wiring-harness-84848129?c=Zz1ib2R5JnM9Y2VudGVyLWNvbnNvbGUmbD03NSZuPUFzc2VtYmxpZXMgUGFnZSZhPWNoZXZyb2xldCZvPXNpbHZlcmFkby0xNTAwJnk9MjAyMCZ0PXJzdCZlPTUtM2wtdjgtZ2Fz https://www.gmpartsclub.com/oem-parts/gm-usb-data-cable-84376073?c=Zz1ib2R5JnM9Y2VudGVyLWNvbnNvbGUmbD03NCZuPUFzc2VtYmxpZXMgUGFnZSZhPWNoZXZyb2xldCZvPXNpbHZlcmFkby0xNTAwJnk9MjAyMCZ0PXJzdCZlPTUtM2wtdjgtZ2Fz Any tips/guidance would be appreciated.
  2. It is just plugging in the wiring harnesses. I called my chevy dealership and they told me it wouldn't be compatible, which is obviously not true. I promise it is super easy. You have to undo 4 screws ( I believe they are T50s) on each seat and just move the seat to the side to get access to the 4 bolts (18 mm I believe) holding the center console/jump seat on. Once those 4 bolts are removed you have to undo the wiring harness that is on the passenger side of the center console/jump seat. The only think you possible can mess up is removing the plastic trim on the sides on the center console. There are videos showing how to do this online.
  3. I did mine this weekend. The guy who sold me the center console lied about everything being included and he did not include the 2 wiring harnesses. I was an idiot and took the wiring harness out of my jump seat expecting it to work, it didnt. Removing the wiring harness out of my jump seat was BY FAR the hardest part of this process. If you can get a center console that actually includes all parts, it is a super easy thing to do. Would have taken me less then an hour without a doubt. Also something I haven't seen mentioned anywhere, you will also need this trim piece for the gap between the console and the dash: https://www.gmpartsdirect.com/oem-parts/gm-lower-panel-84127263 I have one ordered and I'll be installing it once the wiring harnesses come in as well.
  4. I'm super interested in this but $650 is pretty steep. How do you access it to plug in a USB if it is installed?
  5. Where is the link to buy this? I went on the website and I don't see anything.
  6. I have a jump seat with storage in the arm rest and under the seat if anyone is looking to buy one.
  7. I have a 2020 1500 seat with armrest and under seat storage. I'm looking for a center console to buy/trade for.
  8. I'm super interested in doing this also so please keep us updated on how it goes.
  9. I have a 2WD crewcab LT with a long bed. I found some Trailboss wheels/tires for sale and they are going to keep my stock wheels and tires. Will the Trailboss' fit my truck without a level or lift? I'm getting my lift in a couple weeks.
  10. I'm looking for a 3.5 inch lift kit for my 2020 1500 2WD LT Crew cab standard bed. I was looking at the rough country kits but they are for short bed only. Any help would be great, thanks.
